3a paintball barrel kit

Talk of 3A products is looked down upon here at good ol' pbreview. . . they practice some rather not so ethical buisiness things.

All you are going to get is flames about how bad 3A is, probably no real quality feedback.

I wouldn't trust anything 3A. Bad quality and a bad rep. I would look into a MacDev Barrel kit if you have your heart set on one.

i have a demon 14":| (i was noob when i got it....) and its ok. its a lil better than the stock barrel, but definately not worth $30 shipped from ebay. for $30 u can get a used cp and have some cash back.

oh i wasn't planning on getting a set....just everytime i geton ebay to do a search you get a clutter of 3a p-ball barrel ads....thats all...i doughted they were any good....i'm more in the market for a freak junior or a OTP 3 barrel...just can't decide which yet....

Neither, the Freak and OTB are both overpriced as well. Go with a CP 1 Piece, CP 2 Piece, or Dye Ultralite.

how is 60 bucks overpriced for the otp....i would get a cp 1 piece but i use many different types of paint so i need adjustable bore sizes....

Now you are going to get the argument that only closed bolt guns need ajustable bore sizes. . . (you keep walking into these :laugh: )

I think any barrel is a good barrel. Just shoot it first before you buy one, make sure you like it. I have Dye boomsticks (yes plural, a .684 .688 and .690) and like them, but thats a lot of cash. A quality kit would probably provide the same abilities for less.

I don't know much about the OTP barrels, but everyone I know with a freak likes them. Everyone I know that doesn't have a freak says that freaks suck. I would side with the guys that actually have them and say that they are probably pretty good.

get a CP 2 piece barrel, with like a .687 and a .693 insert. that's mostly what you will need for your spyder. might run you over 60, but you basically have 2 barrels then. I got 2 tips and 3 backs and the little case thing (i put all my other barrels in it too) for $100 shipped.

Due to past issue with 3A, them as a company and thier products are banned from PBR. There is a thread in the ultimate stick that explains in more deatail.

IMO stay away from them. Also IMO, a CP is of much better quality and performence for about the same money.
