oh man where do i start. First off, the Em1 doesn't come with a nice barrel. THe Smart Parts Impulse comes with a Progressive, which is actually nice for a stock barrel. 2nd, the EM1 requires an elbow. It's a hassle. 3rd, the Impulse uses all standard threading. The EM1 uses English. 4th, The Smart Parts Impulse comes with the Max Flow Reg. The EM1 doesn't. 5th, the Impulse can use Co2 just as good as N2. The Em1 can't. 6th, the EM1 comes with a single trigger, while the Impulse comes with a double trigger. LASTLY~(drumroll) The EM1 costs $470. The Impulse costs $430. WHich do you think is the better deal AND the better gun? :D

Yes, here it is again... the angel is the best gun because it's the most expensive, and LOOK, an even MORE EXPENSIVE angel, which therefore, must be EVEN BETTER. And that's nowhere near 550 :)

I try the EM1 and got the Impluse my self.I like a few other guns also but wont even talk about them cause there around 800 bucks. You need too try it if you can before you buy it.Its a newer marker on the market so its not a real well know performer, per say as a cocker ,shocker,Bush etc.Runs real nice on CO2 which makes it better for some folks that can't get compress or nitro fills.I paid 450 for the gun but if it breaks it fixed for free.425 if all i want is what smart parts gives you,25 add on wasn't too bad .They got boards that make it full auto also. so there up grades out there. Also shocker barrels can be milled down .049 to fit the Impluse. In time after market will be in line selling stuff for this gun.

The Diablo Matrix, is amazingly acurate, and efficiant. Stock It's somethin like $520 i think. The BBT Mephisto would be my only other choice. Stock it's about $420 at http://www.paintballgear.com and i've never seen a better lookin gun for the price.

I've played a few games with a matrix, feels great, but efficient? wtf? Gas consumption on that thing is horrid. And no the gun wasnt messed up, I got it from my buddy Dave, who designed the matrix, and I'm assumin he knows how to take care of it:) Gun is also pretty simple to disassemble, and maintain, but it's out of the price range, and for that price, I like the timmy better :D

Get a Shocker 4by4 they are about $530 (online). IMHO the Shocker is better than the Impulse or EM1. Shocker is low pressure, close bolt, and comes with the All American barrel.
