Hi, I was curious as to how one would would go about making a paintball mortar or cannon. How much could I do it for and how would I do it?( I did a search in the forums and found one for sale for $20) Any suggestions? :)

The materials alone would de about 20, so that's a good deal. Basic design is really a pvc pipe, with a air connector. One design I've seen has the pvc with a small brass hose fitting off of it which the tank connects too. It has two levers, to fill, close the one to the gun, and open the one to the tank (which causes the space to fill with the same pressure as the tank). To fire, close the one to the tank, then open the one to the gun. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Oh man! I once knew the URL to a site that sold specialty paintball items like explosive grenades, landmines, rifles (made from real rifles), LAWs, and howitzers. Those were some of the coolest things I've seen...I'll try to find it for you.

Use a potato gun. Take styrofone cups full of paintballs & tape them together. Cut lines in the cups so they break apart in the air. Use it like a morter because the velocity is way higher than 300 fps if you shoot it like a bazooka.
