Off topic drawing the posts.

First off, I like this place.

This place use to be filled with people who would post in the General Topic Forums, and then sometimes post in the off topic.

Now it seems people post more in off topic than any other place. I go from forum to froum, and I have never seen some people post once in all the forums cept off topic, but seen them post 20 times a week in off topic.

I think it would be cool, to shut down off topic for a week and see how many good posts we can get out of the people who don't usually.

that would just piss people off and it might drive people away! plus what if we cant get the thread back in the off topic thread? that would be very bad. plus some of the people in off topic help the "economy" of pbreview

That is one of the greatest ideas ive heard for a while By shutting down the offtopic forum for a while, u would loose a lot fo members, obvioulsy. However, you would also get more posting in the General paintball forums. If u do this, ull get rid of some of the spammers and will leave only more of the members who are concerned about paintball then souding cool in the off topic forum. U just hit the 5000 memeber makr, maybe its time to drain out some of the people who dont contribute to the actual forum...

The only problem i could see with this is some of the more prominnet spammers would just have their converstaion in other forums.....

it could work like that or all the spammers from the ot will go to the gun forums and spam there

If all they do is spam, why do we need members like that?

If you can't go a week without spamming, mabye you shouldn't be a member. Mabye some of the mods might have to delete a few more posts, but that's what there here for. RIght?

I think it is good idea.

But what does it matter if the mods don't like it?
