SmartParts 14" teardrop inacc? doesn't fit VL orion?

Ok I just bought this barrel the SmartParts 14" teardrop for Sypder thread which I was told my viewloader Orion has. Now this barrel is about a milimeter longer from the thread to the end so I can't screw it in all the way to my gun, so the O ring isn't actually touching. I thought my ViewLoader Orion used the Spyder threading so I could upgrade my barrel. Any help. And I went and tried it out, seemed to be hooking balls fairly frequently, anyone know why? Thx.

It should fit, I'm not sure why it doesn't. Anyway, make sure your marker is clean, and make sure you're not shooting hot, which could cause paint to curve.

it wasn't hot cause I shot it cold and just like 30 shots, and the gun is clean and I put the barrel on right, the threading fits, it is just too long like I mentioned so I can thread it all the way in... :(

Shooting hot means shooting at over 300fps.
See if taking the o-ring off helps, other than that, I don't know what's wrong.
