If you plan on upgrading your marker alot I suggest getting a base marker, but if your arent gonna upgrade much other then the barrel or so then get a pro ts or something similar...your choice :)

ya well i really only plan to buy a new barrel, maybe a lapco bigshot or the JJ ceramic but that is all. SO i dont know if i need the regulator or not of the TS, the PRO TS also looks coolier IMHO.

Get one of the Pros if you dont plan on upgrading. I like the Pro EXT better but thats just me. I like the solid colors, milling, and flush cocking. Plus it is cheaper. Alot of people like the Pro TS better because it has an aluminum trigger frame but you cant break the composite one unless you did something really severe which would probably damage it if it were aluminum.

well really id the regulator on the PRO TS worth it? All the pro ts and EXT have over the STS is the reg, so it is worth the extra 80 dollars?

G3 STS VF you can find for 135-140. It has flush cocking and a gas thru grip.

G3 Pro EXT you can find for around 200. It has high flowing ASA with guage, milling, reg, turbo valve, flush cocking, and a drop forward.

G3 Pro TS you can find for around 220. It has high flowing ASA with guage, aluminum trigger frame, reg, turbo valve, drop forward, and splash annodizing.

Everything else on the markers is the same.

so EXT - milling, no alum trigger frame, and flush cocking
so TS - aluminum trigger, no milling, and no flush cocking.

What is flush cocking?

With regular cocking the cocking rod sticks out about 1/2". Then when you fire it goes into the gun then comes back out really fast. Thats why most guns have beavertails. With flush cocking you cock the gun and the cocking rod goes back into the gun. When you fire it moves a few millimeters. You dont need a beavertail. Its really just a fancy thing. It doesnt change performance at all.

so why, does the PRO TS, PMI's top semi-auto not have the flush cocking? LoL I like regular anyways, I think it looks more hardcore.

The Pro TS is supposed to me more durable than the EXT. Thats why it has the aluminum trigger frame and they left flush cocking off because it was a new thing and regular cocking was a proven design PMI has used for a while. The EXT is the more flashy gun. It has the new flush cocking, the prizm barrel, and milling.

So im kinda leaning towards the Pro TS, what would you reccomend?

It all depends on what you want. They are almost identical. I like the EXT better though because I dislike the splash anno on the TS and I dont really see the need for an aluminum trigger frame. Plus it is cheaper. It all depends on what you like.

I have a STS VF G3 and its awesome. The stock barrel is not that that great but if u plan on buying a new one than it doesn't matter. But i have only bought one upgrade for it so far which was a phyco ballistics drop. (and i shortened the trigger pull myself) I love this Gun. So i would recommend this one!:wink2:

I've done a lot of research on this subject and I'd recommend the PRO TS. The stock barrel that comes with it is supposedly as good as an aftermarket barrel (check out the reviews on the main site, the average review is 9.9/10 ) and the aluminum trigger frame helps you get a much faster rate of fire. I'd advise checking out Paintball Gun Review.com (http://paintballgunreview.com) They have some excellent reviews on the piranha guns.

Also, the Pro TS looks awesome :D
