Im PissED!

OK, i was going to take off my old ball detent and i was doing fine until the gold piece(main piece -screws into marker) got stuck, because eariler ( 3-4 weeks ago) i put blue lock tite on it and now the gold piece wont come off , i tried to use needle nose pilers and it's almost out but now it wont move any more , now i have like 4 scratches on my marker, im so f**ing pissed....!!! can anyone give me some tips?

also i wasn't paying attention when putting on my frame(dumb***** me) and i pinched the "eye" wire in two places and now the damn thing wont work unless i turn off the eye. does anyone know where i can get a new eye wire?( number 71 in TES manual(second to last page). please any info will be great.

loctite? why'd u do that...u can just buy a new one...like a cocker detent....but anyways ur problem u would need a new detent

not sure about the eye wire, but you just gotta use the allen key the gun came with... dont strip the hole though

im not saying any help ? like saying that if some one can help me any faster or anything im just saying if anyone knows where i can get the eye wire or anything... and im sure you'ed be pissed if your eye wire was pinched and your detent was f*cked up....

yeah i WOULD be, but i pay attention to things when i reassemble my gun, and im not stupid enough to loctite the damn ball detent

hi,

my best guess would be vice grips and put some electrical tape on the ends so it wont scratch your gun.

I have stuff like this happen. you might have to use a torch and heat it to get lock tite off.

I think they make somthing that takes lock tite off but it may strip your paint.

id go w/ vice grips and electrical tape

also, are you sure you put BLUE loctite on it, and not just loctite from a blue container? i have had red loctite come in a blue container, and blue come in a red containter

Yea im pretty sure it's blue beause it came out BLUE and i just took the rubber ball detent from my old spyder xtra and put it in to my detent(the gold piece) and it works fine until i figure out another idea im gonna kept this dentent in.... and i will try thr vice grips because i tried needle nose pilers and it scratched the hell out of it (only like 4 or 5 strathes but i done care to much about looks i like performance better....

a lot of paintballers were once people who played with rc cars or boats or w/e
if ur one of those lucky few people, you may have fuel tubing lying around somewhere in your toolbox that u can slip over the tips of ur needle nose pliers and itll cusion anyhting u grab it with.

anyways, thats some pretty strong blue loctite....or else u just dont have the strength to turn it out. if u can still grip it and turn it out, try getting a small lighter and melting the loctite on the threads, then twist it.
