For a special "Marshal (Ref) Day" at the site where i work the owner is turning the bottom half of the site into one game for 4hrs. Thats about 100 acres of play, im gonna be knackered. Thing is he wants it to be like a large rec ball game and has given me the task of coming up with some missions for both teams to complete.

Heres basics of the day :

Two teams, each have a base in two different normal game arenas (called Village and Scud)

Flags - There will be a normal "pull out of the ground" flag in the physical (building) base of each team, but in each teams base arena there will be two flag poles that can have flags raised on them get get points.

Sectors -

Roll-a-Rock : Small arena with a great big fibre glass rock (or dinosaur turd as one marshal called it) that can be rolled

Beeches : Normal quite large game, barracades etc

Village : Will be one teams base arena, has loads of huts, and is really dense with bushes.

Bridges : Medium arena with a small stream running through it, with two bridges crossing it.

Scud : Large game arena, has a small hut on it, and loads of derilict(sp?) trucks on it. Normal scattering of barracades.

Swap : ABSOLUTLY MASSIVE game arena (normal punter teams takes 10 mins for them to find each other) Has a few barracades and holes in the ground. But has two massive great big ditches bout 40-50ft in diameter (if not bigger)

My ideas for the day are -

Assassination : A member of the opposition team (captain maybe) becomes a target by the other team. Possible dressing up as santa claus so its "Kill Mr. Claus". Obviously the opposition have to proctect him.

Protect Hostage/Flags : An opposition team member has been captured and the enemy want to retrive him. They must stop him being taken back by the enemy.

Gather Flags : There are a collection of flags dotted around the field. Teams must collect some or all of the flags for bonus points

Roll-The-Rock : The rock has to be moved from point A to point B, with a live player on it.

Attack / Defend : Nice easy one, either your attacking a position - a position is lost by an opposing team member coming in when all of the occuping team have been eliminated.

Bonus Points : Possible extra points on top of raising the flags in the enemies base.

Movable players : A player has been nominated so he can swap teams, but only by being eliminated. If hes playing for team A and gets shot by team B he/she swaps over to team B. Whoever has possession of him by the end of the mission wins.

Injured player : A team-mate has been injured and has to be taken back to base to be heal, thing is he has to be aided by two members.

Any suggestions will be really grateful, cos i have till the 16th to do it, hope to do it by the 11th so i can talk to my boss. All missions have to be capable of being done in 30mins, and have to be possible to be done - no bomb enemy base with dulux :D

Ciaran that's sounds really good! Man I wish we were closer I'd love to play some of those senarios. We play some close to those, el presidenta, sniper, center flag push, hopper ball, fox and hounds. You guys will have a blast with a hundred acres to roam! Book my flight on the Concord bro!

Thing is the whole site 220 acres :D mmmmmmm We've lost people on games for 20 mins at a time before now, damn punters.

Still need some more ideas!!

Do something like team A has to take some object (object is better than person, aka president) from one side of the field to the other.

A long time ago somebody posted this idea. Team A is the good guys and gets a 5, 10 etc. minute head start to go out into the playing area to find the object. They must recover the object and then take it to their extraction point. If the person carrying the object is shot someone else can pick it up. But, If the object is shot, or the bad guys capture the object and take it to their extraction point the good guys loose.

Make sense?

You could do an ambush type game. Where team A is waiting for team B to come down the road. Team B knows team A is waiting for them but doesn't know where. You can make it so team B has to stay on the road, or you can make it so only a certain number have to stay on the road, or you can make it so none of the team has to stay on the road.

Sounds like a cool place to play you have. Where is it?

Another game that sounds similar to one you were talking about would be invasion. One team has to infiltrate the other teams area and hit with paint grenades certain targets. But the infiltrating team can't fire until fired upon. That would be funny because the defending team could walk right up to one of the invaders and not be fired at if he hadn't fired at the person yet.:D this game might be harder to make fun though

Hmm not sure about the last one but the first one is possible, there is a road going right down the middle of the site, (so we can transport gas cylinders etc).

Well where i play/work, is in Birmingham, England :D Too far i think for you. It is great, massive games, so lots of possibilities in games, they had sup'air for a while but they've taken it down. Might be returning in the new year though. Its called the NPF (National Paintball Fields) and i think its the biggest one in Europe, which is very nice. :D And i live less than 5 miles away!!

Ok, just finshed with adding one definate one and one possible.

Bomb : A flag is given to each team (or just one) and it has to be set off in a set area. Basically its a kamikaze mission for the person carrying the bomb cos once they get to the target zone they have to hold the flag and go "BOOM!" The persons dead but gets a load of points for his team.

POW (Prisoners of War) : There are two areas in the middle of the field with two marked out areas on them, about 100-200 ft away from each other. Each one contains about 10-15 people of each team. They have to be released by another memeber of their team, but cannot fire on the opposition cos they are POW, untill they are released as well.

OOOO i can just see the paint lying :D

There are 2 spies on team A for team B. B general must meet with one of the spies. Team A must also assualt an objective during the mission. Team A has three objectives- take the assualt objective, eliminate the spies, and kill the enemy commander. Team B must get the information from their spies, defend the assualt for the entire time, or kill team A's general. I would suggest this game with B having less players than A. This will use amazing team coordination on A's part using tracking, surveillance, and attack. B will need to use stealth and good commanding, since the general would have to travel with escorts in order to make it harder for a single sniper following the spies to kill him. It may be confusing, but it would be fun (just something I thought up)
