the armson beats the sl because it is a high end pump, built with more quality and care, and designed better.

The Armson Pump is a better gun. It is made of very high quality parts. I prefer a trracer over an SL-68 II. SL's are sort of hard to pump, loud, and heavy. They are durable and compact though. If you got the cash go for the armson.

yes I would have to agree...the armson gets the nod over the Sl-68

Did you pass grade 11 physics because even a talon(poor talon so much bad rep hehe) that has an exiting velocity of 300fps it will shoot just as far as an armson it will take aprox 2 seconds from chest height for the ball to hit the ground no matter what the speed, barrel or gun. I'm tired of people saying range.

What are you talking about "no matter what speed". Duh the higher the speed the farther it will go. 1 feet/second and 2 feet/second. both balls drop at the same rate, but one goes twice as far. Don't try and act smart.

Let's help this poster on his gun choice. Go Armson but I do like Tippmann's service.

ya I would go with the Armson, although the SL-68 II is durable, the Armson is better all around

go for a tastey armson. SL ....... are like playing with a cardboard box and don't have very good performence.

by the way....

thats 9th grade phyics. I would rather get a phantom over the armson for plenty of reasons. The main one being that i don't have to buy the gun from africa, and the second is parts availibilty. Pain in the arse to get parts for the gun.

By the way, the thread is cited armson vs sl68 not armson vs phantom vs sl 68.

But I agree if someone offered me a choice of a pantom or a armson for the same price(if they are both 150.00) I would go with the phantom 4 sure.

If you can FIND an armson...sure. its nice to be different. but for functionality? pickup a used sl68-II for 50 bucks and you'll be happy you did. its a tank. comfy, not that heavy either. and as accurate as most pumps.

The SL-68 II has the highest rating of all pump guns on this site. Are these statistics false?
