I have herd of two ways on how to oil your piranha (fast)
now, i want to know which way is the correct and most successful way to oil your marker.

1- put a few drops into the Ram Air Chamber and dry fire.

2- put a few drops into the ASA (where the co2 gets screwed into)
and dry fire.

which one works, and if so which one can mess up your marker?

P.S.
I have tried putting the oil in the Ram Air chamber and the oil does seem to travel through the internals.

thanks for any replys

Ricky

I never heard of putting it in the ram air chamber. The Piranha manual says to put a few drops in the ASA, remove your barrel and shoot it about 25 times. If you dont remove the barrel you will shoot oil into it and your accuracy will be like you broke a ball in there.

and that won't ruin the expansion chaber?

I dont know about that. They dont come stock with one. A lot of the oil might stay in the xchamber. It is easiest just to clean and oil your gun after each use. Then put a drop of oil on your finger and rub it on an o-ring. Then do this untill all the o-rings are oiled. That is how I do it and it works great. You should clean your gun after each use anyway so it isnt that much of a hastle.

I am new to paintball and I don't know what to oil on the Piranha. I plan to buy a Piranha EXT PRO G3 and it would be nice to know what I need to oil on it to maintain it nicely. Also can I just buy oil for it at a Paintball store just by asking if they have any?

Lubrication

It is recommended that a 100% synthetic gun oil, such as PMI Paintball Gun Oil , be used for lubricating the marker/paintball gun

1. Befor each insertion of the removable power source (tank or remote) into ASA , clean the threads and put two drops of oil onto them.

2. After removing the bolt/hammer assembly, put a drop of oil onto each O-ring.

3. Before screwing the barrel onto the marker clean the barrel threads.

4. After removing the trigger frame, put a drop of oil onto the pivot points of the trigger and sear.

5. the fastest way to oil the entire piranha is to take off the barel; put 4 drops of oil into the ASA , screw the bottle in over the oil, and shoot the gun several dozen times without the barrel.

Order the oil when you buy your Marker/gun. I wouldn't buy anything at a paintball store. they charge double the price of that you can get online.
The only thing that might suck about buying online is the return issue, you have to pay to so send it back.

good luck
