should i sell the 98 and upgrade the a-5 or sell the a-5 and put an electro hopper + responce for 98 ???

im in a pickle?

but u see i could buy a progessive and a double for my a adaper block and it would be exactly the same... for a price of 125 after taxes candian .. and i could sell the 98 with everything extra mask and crap to a noob for 375...

keep the gun you like the most. no matter what, you will be able to up the gun you keep with the money from the other one, so your pretty much good to go. I would recommend selling the 98c if you can get the 375 for it, because they go for really cheap online. A5's have great resale and trading value, the more upgrades, the better.

I really don't think any tippmann has great re-sale value since a hell of a lot of ppl have them. It's up to you what you'd like to do. Personnally, I'd sell the A-5 cause there's nothing better than having fun modding a 98C. There's soo many home mods you can do.

he was referring to home mods, there are many more for the 98 mostly because it is essentially an expendable gun, like a thing you can fool around with and not worry to much about screwing it up.

i agree with selling them both for a higher end gun unless your all gung-ho scenario, in which case it is preference

you'd be suprised. Mostly stock ones go for a little less than $100 on ebay, and can go for $200 plus with the right upgrades (stocks, flatlines, and a cheap pack+tubes)

Yeah, ive seen fully pimped tippys (98c) go for as much as 800 cdn on ebay.

the following were included in the one i saw

-ebolt
-flatline
-car stock
-bt m16 sight rail
-rocket cock 2
- coil remote (cant remember what kind)
- bt 16 barrel
- tank (cant remember what kind, co2 though)
-ricochet 2k
-pods + harnes


it could have included a nitro kit and comp air, possibly a sight for preference, some other things im not thinking about right now, anyways i think there is a potential for a $1000 cdn package, easy.

:o ditch the 98c and stick wih the a-5 even though i like the 98c, i would take the a-5 over the 98c because u dont have to buy a nice hopper the stock one works the same as any one u would get for the 98c and also its cooler looking than the 98c...but thats my opinion...:o

i would sell them both and get a bko or maybe a used cocker, but if you really want to stick with your tippy i would get the A-5, there are nearly as many home mods for the A-5 as there are for the 98c (to whoever said there wasnt) you just gotsta be creative;) i have friends who all have or used to have tippmanns and it is really preference in which gun you choose.

I agree, I like both the a-5 and the 98c but selling them both to get a better gun is a good idea. I like the bko ALOT but if u were to not use c02 it would run u alot.

heres your soloution:

Spend money on a stock and an extremely long cheap barrel.

Sell it on ebay as a PAINTBALL SNIPER gun, use those terms liberally, as well as SEMI AUTOMATIC, and CAN BE UPGRADED TO FULL AUTOMATIC. You will get quite a bit more for your tippy with this things, and make sure theres camo in the bg
