Hi ya all,

I’m getting started in this game a little late, but you know what they say,- anyway, my 2 sons have been in paintballing for a while and got me going now and I love it. After reading the reviews here I went out and bought my first marker. It was a Gameface “e-rex Pro”. It was on sale at one of our sport stores for $79. I’m looking at possible upgrades for this gun. The first I know will be a new barrel. But my question is this, what about internal parts i.e. - delrin bolt, spring kit etc. The e-rex Pro looks just like the “Black Dragun LCD” marker also reviewed here. The specs for each gun are identical. Does anyone know if in fact this is the same gun, because then the upgrade parts should be the same. Thanks for any advice.

well they are the same exact marker coming from the same exact plant... Which is where all gameface markers (as well as the old school, no longer produced, sheridans) are made. They are 100% spyder compatible... They take a spyder side cocking bolt, all spyder spring kits, valves, front block, drop forwards, barrels, and strikers.

All correct except the bolt....the bolt on the e-rex pro's are self sealing rear cocking.

yes, but the actual bolt itself is the same as a spyder side cocking... the mechanism for the flush cocking screws into a 8-32 threaded hole that has been tapped in the back of the bolt.

Thanks Stanman & PB_Matty, This really helps. The information that came with the gun is bare minimum.
