The my marker crapped out on me at a bad time thread

I played yesterday. It was like 30*, and my gun was shooting a lot of snow. So to compomise, I re-adjusted my reg. I then went out to replace one of my team-mates, who was out of air. I was stalking this guy, crouch-walking through a ditch, and popping out to shoot now and then. Pretty soon, my gun started farting like crazy. You know, not enough air. I had my reg to low. It fed like 3 balls, one broke, and the bolt stuck. It sputtered and hissed loudly, and shot snow out the barrel, feedneck, cracks under the grip, everywhere. It turned completely white, and froze solid! I think the bolt stuck halfway, and was giving constant co2. Man, I wish I had a place to fill HPA around here! My prey was long gone, so I ran ack to base, and borrowed a gun. I left it back at base without the tank on. When i came back 40 minutes later, it was still a big icicle. Well after a little work on it today, I also found a leak in my steel line.

So to summerize, I need:

An ACI X-Chamber, already have a kingman bottom line reg, but that's not enough.

A new Steel line.

A vertical adapter.

Anti-syphon on my tank, or a remote. The nearest pro-shop that will install an A/S is 40 miles in a direction I never travel.

As you may guess, I am really stoked about shelling out $90 more in upgrades to my already tricked out gun(Sarcasm).

playing a game of "kill the president" a couple weeks ago...

I was one of 8 "bodyguards". there were about 20 kids who were the "terrorists". 6 of them came towards my side of the field. I was pretty well hidden, and i had two other guys backing me up. The kids got somewhat close and I opened fire. took 2 of them out, and the others ran back for cover. they got 3 more reinforcements. so now, it was 7 on 3. the other two guards had rental Pro/Carbines, so they weren't shooting very far. the kids had the Pro/Carbines too, but they were on a hil, so they had some more range. I kept up the pressure on the kids, when all of a sudden my gun started sputtering. No CO2! now I had no way to defend myself.

There were still 5 minutes left in the game. the other two guards were just shooting aimlessly, hoping to hit something. I wasn't gonna call myself out, so instead I acted as a spotter for the two guards, and an intimidation factor for the kids. They knew I was the only one who could reach them, but they didn't know I had no gas left. I would pop out of the bunker every couple seconds just to keep them on their toes. I was worried that the kids would try to rush us in the last couple minutes of the game, but they never left the bunkers I had put them in. I got lucky that game...

I was playing a game with a friend a week ago, he had an Xtra and a 12 oz that wasn't anti-siphoned and I had an A-5 with an anti-siphoned 20 oz. During the game his gun started farting and stopped, then he recocked it and shot and repeated the process. My A-5 was getting frozen despite the anti-siphon. It was probably 40-50 degrees out, so that could be the problem. We took his gun inside and I stripped it down and found out he had 2 expanded O-rings. We quickly changed it and proceeded the game.

Moral-Play with anti-siphoned tank or HPA and don't play in cold weather.

Four on Four Speedball.

My friend and I go to the pallet side of the course and he stops at the back and gets pinned at the truck. I managed to get up to the middle and I get into a firefight with a dude that had a pretty nice 'mag. He could rip on that thing pretty well. So we got this guy, another guy with a crappy little Viewloader gun and then a native to the course that had an R/T 98. Now, the owner of the course allows R/T to be used so it wasn't exactly fair. Well, this guy manages to get all the way around the other side of the course eliminating our two guys on that side. When he gets back parallel to my friend they get into a fairly heated firefight which ended up in the wrong man's favor. So now it's me vs. three other guys. I get one guy out at the tower and the guy with the Mag was running out of paint so I just let him keep shooting. I turn around to try to take on the Tippmann guy and he's about 12-15 feet away from me and right when I shot my Cocker just ****s up-pretty much for good. The Tippmann guy never even asked for a surrender or anything he just lit me like a candle. Needless to say, I was royally pissed the remainder of the day.

I sympathise. With winter coming, I'll use my pump. But it sux not having my spyder. I'm thinkin' of gettin' an A5, or 98c. They eat CO2 for breakfast. What happened to your cocker?

Only God knows. I was constantly having problems with that stupid thing so I eventually sold it. The timing was getting messed up all the time (and I'd never mess with it), I'd get leaks all over the place, yadda yadda. Sold it about 9-10 months ago and haven't missed it since. Only now I have a plain ol' Model 98 to work with. :(

I was hiding behind a HUGE tree stump in this one woodsball map. Then the ball chopped and there were 4 guys comin in on me from the top. I was scared.. but I just kept on shooting and got 3 of em out. The 4th one shot me like 3 times

Heh, mine happend like back in September. I had just got a Bushy, and having no Chrono or anything at home I had to bring it to the field when I played to mess with it. Well I had problems with the re-cocking and whatnot (Although it might have been user error, I dont think it was, since I followed the instructions in the manual. So anyway, I finally got it to a point I thought it would work. So the game starts, and I run to a standup (this is Hyperball, BTW) I try to lane, but my velocity was low, so I was like, screw this. So I ran up the left tape and slid into the snake. No one saw me and I popped just at the junction int he middle where there is short standup. Well, there is a kid, just to the right of me, so I pull the trigger a few time (mind you this kid was like 15 feet from me) and the balls just roll out of the barrel. So I duck back into the snake and call myself out. Needless to say, soon after that I packed up and went home. Thankfully, I returned the gun and got a timmy :D

i have a "marker crapped out at a good time story" sound weird i kno, but listen. i was in a the top floor of a building and shooting window to window against 2 other guys. all of a sudden, my maker stopped shooting. i thought i was out of paint,so i called myself out, raised my hand then turned around. to my surprise, a guy was right behind me aiming at me. good thing my hand was raised, or my *** would have been bunkered. in the staging area, i found out that my crappy rental loader had jammed. i felt lucky for some reason

My gun hasn't failed yet, but my friend borrowed a Model 98 from my friends Uncle. We were also playing a game of "Kill the President" but the president had to stay on a path. It was my friend against 3 other guys. They cheated and ran into a barn so we're about to come in and light them up, but my freinds tank runs out of gas! I yell at him why didn't he check his tank, and we end up scaring the crap out of the other guys.:P

My cocker has never betrayed me. Ever. I have shot my full 68/4500 in 1 game tho and ran out. It was a big arena game 400 v 400 on 3 speedball feilds all put together. I shot alot.

I was using an eradicator, and had never shot a paintball marker before, so i was pretty nervous. the game was ona big woodsball feild, so i felt safe moving around a little bit. next thing i know there was a guy in the next bunker, and he didnt see me! I was thinking ":D :D :D this is an easy shot, time for my first elimination!" i aimed the ejaculator, and pulled the trigger... but nothing happened! i pretty near peed my pants, so i said "teh ref teh ref!! h3lp meh b4 i get pwned!!!!!" :eek: so the ref came over, and i told him my marker wouldnt shoot. he said "let me see it." so the ref took my marker, cocked it, and gave it back to me. shortly after i got bunkered. boy was my face red. well thats the story of my marker taking a poo on my head. (keep in mind this was a few years back...)

ok me and a few friends were playing a game of cabins. after the game started i ran to a T buntker on the left side near a cabin. i see 2guys run into the cabin and start shooting out a window not paying attention to anything. i decide i might go Rambo and bunker them so i take off. as soon as i round the corner of the doorway and start to open up.....


my gun starts to sputter....im out of air...the 2guys look at me and hand me my arse as painfully as it gets...thats the story of how i saved the WORLD

I bought an overly-hyped regulator that was extremely sensitive to dirt. I won't mention name, but they improved thier product so now it's more reliable and maybe a tad heavier. At the start of the game I ran super fast all the way to the 60 and no one saw me or went to that side of the woodsball field. I lined up the first guy down my barrel and "ploop", my paintball shoots 2 feet. I yelled out in disappointment because if my autococker was working, I was in position to annhilate the entire team. But nooooooooo sensitive regulator shutdown. My scream of frustration attracts attention so I fake snapshoot at all these high end electric fools (I had a mech autococker at the time) and hold them down for 2:00 before I get mowed down. Errrgggh.

Another time was a little more uplifting. I bought the lpr from the same company and this time it messed up my cocking pressure. I knew what was going on this time so I ran to the 30 and started shouting out positions. I encouraged this guy meanwhile to do what I would do if my autococker was working. Everyone was eliminated on my team except me and the guy I was talking to the entire game trying to get him to be a frontman in place of me. The last two guys were behind a really big tree. I told the guy something along the lines, "Ok now see those two newbies (30-40year old adults), I am going to sacrifice myself down the left side. They always tend to shoot to the right and that's why I am going down the left side. I'll be at thier right side and they will see only me. Run two steps behind me and go down the other side and just mow them down for me, you with me?" He said, "Yes, let's do this." I run down the left side yelling stupidly firing nothing while they both turn and light me up. I kept going until my teamate mowed down the last two players off the field.

the only time where you could say my gun crapped out (not neccesarily at a bad time) was when i got a new powertube and my velocity skyrocketed. so i turned my velocity down alot with my RVA. the RVA was screwed out about as far as it could go. during the game, while i was shooting, the RVA just shot out. its a damn good thing i didnt lose the drive pin.

I was playing a game of speedball at my local field and for the last two games the two guys who ref there played. They are pretty d***ed good. So I was behind a bunker with one and the refs gun runs out of co2. So we switch tanks, and some how there was enough co2 in his tank for my gun to fire. I got out and he was at the back right corner. The people at the field were me and my friends, we're all a bunch of noobs. So the ref who was on my team is still in the back right corner. He is taking fire like mad. The funniest part was that for the longest time there was this stand off. He wasn't out, but he was just standing out in the open, leaning against a spool. All my friends on the other team were like, "Is he out?" The entire other team was bewildered, then he shot at them, and it was on. One of the funniest things to see! ;)

My spyder was the only thing to ever crap out on me. So I don't use it ever anymore.

When I first got my cocker I didn't make a mistake. I didn't fill up on air, cause I was too excited to go out and play with a new cocker. I played a game of speedball with it. I was kicking ***. I had moved all the way up the snake, and was in the other teams end. I bunkered the person right on the other side of their head of the snake. Then I started shooting inward, not worrying about the back left. I'd let the guys in the center worry about him. By crossing in I had angles on almost everyone, and they didn't even know. I ran out of air and was just barely lobbing balls. I even had to cock after every shot. It was horrible. I was doing so good, then I just had to not have air.

It was me and another guy vs one other kid left. I ran up to bunker him, and i'm laying fire on his bunker, but right as he came into view, my gun friggin stopped firing. I was so lucky he couldn't get a shot off. I juped behind a bunker and had to recock my gun. Luckily the kid on the other team was too busy worring about my teamamte to notice me, so I bunkered him, properly this time. It's such agood feeling, shooting someone point blank when they don't expect it.

I was playing mid with my dragunfly LED when it chopped. I didn't think much of it but it kept chopping and chopping and all my other teammates were out and I got bunkered by 4 of the guys on the other team at once, and all I could do was launch a pitiful spray of goop at them.:bawling:

Hmmm yeah... My story will not be very creative but here it goes. I was playing speed ball all day with my friends and my gun really isn't that good. Sometimes it works remarkably, those times do not include when I use 3 month old zap spank paint, or spank paint in general. Between the beginning and end of every game that day my gun jammed up. I had to clean it about 5 times. It's a sad story, really. I won't mention that my friend just so happened to have a back up cocker (how does he end up with a cocker with a back up for his timmy and my spyder is my only gun? oh well that's how life goes isn't it...) so I used that and ran out of air in the middle of the game. Needless to say that day has convinced me that my gun is finally out of its prime... Too bad I won't part with it because of its sentimental value.

I was in a tourny, and im the backman, so i kinda need to be there. I had just filled my tank so it was full, but i went out onto the field and about 2 minutes into the game my gun started farting. I had only shot about 200 paintballs, so i still had about 500 shots left in my tank. Long story short, we lost the match, but still got 4th place out of 8 teams. My cupseal had cracked, so yah, i had to replace it.

Speedball, as a Front man I'd gone onto the right hand side and when down behind a Mars Bar..

Anyway I use a Shocker and this was a while ago when it was stock.. As you may know Shockers get really unhappy when they haven't got any Dow33 on them and I had been suffering First Shot Drop off anyway..

To cut a long story short I realized that my gun just wasn't getting the air pressure to fire, I had to rapid trigger pull 4 or 5 times to get just 1 actual power shot. I'd spent 10 minutes behind the bunker fiddeling with the solenoid, Bottle, Reg even the barrel.. eventually Ithought bollocks to it, got up and ran at the first enemy I saw, I was about 1 foot away firing manically, this guy was getting showered by balls at 1 or 2 FPS, then just as he looked at me 1 shot out and gogge him..

That was pretty good!

2 weeks ago my friend and I were just starting a game st SC Village. 3 seconds into the game, my friend walks off cursing. Being the only one at of my friends who actually knows how the spyder works, I try and open the gun up. I can't get the bolt out. I try to unscrew the barrel to see whact's blocking the bolt. (No, i didn't look down the barrel with air or paint in teh gun. I may be only 13, but I'm not stupid.) The barrel won't come off. Frusterated, I yank on the bolt as hard as I can. It finally comes out, covered with paint, a part of a shell on the bolt (which is why I couldn't get it out) bits of shell IN THE VENTURI. (The damn venturi won't come out no matter how hard I've tried). I think that's the end of the problem but oh no, my friend can **** up his gun a lot worse as I soon find out. As I pull the striker out, I notice it's dripping paint, which is weird because paint usually isn't anywhere near that part of the gun.I look down the bottom tube and THERE'S SHELL AND PAINT IN THE VALVE! How the hell doyou do that? We had to flush it out with water. Just when it seems it's all fixed, we start stripping it down to reoil it and somehow my friend got paint IN THE GASLINE!. Notonly thatr, but pretty much every single oring of his was swelled and broken. He had to play vertical bottle for the rest of the day because the orings had fallen off of the foregrip and various other parts and we only had 1 spare which went on his bolt. Sur, we didn;'t have to buyt anything new, but I have never seen anyone **** his gun up that badly by just shooting it.

*Later that day my other friend managed to screw his Tippamann 98 Custom over, and he knows how these things work pretty well.

I was playing on a old- west style field and was shooting paint that did not match my barrel's bore size. I must have been getting 11-12 BPS with my $80 gun, which is enough to gum it up when using the wrong paint. There were 2 enemies around the corner from me and I chopped 2 balls and the shells locked down m bolt. Ihad to go get this big dude to pull on the gun while I held the bolt to get it unstuck. It was such a mess It took me 10 minutes to clean my gun. Then I went to chrony because I thought that I was shooting slow.. and gues what? That's right! It took me another 10 minutes to clean it out AGAIN without a squeegee.


P.S. (I promply pored all of the crappy paintballs onto some sharp rocks and stomped all over them for the crap I had to put up with)

Me and this other guy are pinned behind a van when his Icon LED's battery dies. While he's working on it, I get gogged and start to head toward the out bunker. He needed my gun(it was my orion) so I handed it to him, he starts to screw his All-American barrel on when the other team starts to charge. He gets up and his barrel falls right of the front of the gun! 5 seconds later the game was over.

I'm glad that my cousin got a video of it, I'll never get tired of watching it.

Playing speedball, I take the back right stand up...I chop a ball...It goes into my hopper, all that paint ruined. Paint is pouring out of the powerfeed hole...yeah it sucked... :(

Sup air. On the break I tried to run to this hotdog laydown bunker at the 50 but got shot in the groin in the process. The pain just stopped me from running full blast and my marker came out of my hand and flipped violently 3 times in the air before it landed next to the bunker I curled up in. I checked through the pain to see if it broke (the paintball), but it bounced. Realizing I wasn't out I tried to grab my marker slowly reaching out my arm through the pain. As I grabbed it, it fell apart. The cradle snapped in half and the HPA tank was held on by the macroline. It was too dangerous so I tried to leave the field all hunched over and limping. I was bonusballed all the way to the boundryline.

This didnt happen t me but it happaned to my friend and i was there. He was playing one on one with this kid with a imagine. He was much better than him so he was in position to bunker him in a short time. My friends gun wasnt working so he had to rent a tippman. When he came out to bunker him and came around the bunker he pulls the trigger but the gun just uncocks. the kid lit him up. it was hilarios.

I was playing at a friends, and I made an insanely long run down the field, took out one guy, and made my way to my opponents back-sides. And there I see Bob. Bob is about 15 yards away, looking at my team mates, and doesn't even know im there. I'm standing out in the friggin open, aim, pull trigger, and nothing. The back screw on my electra dx had come loose. I try to shoot Bob about 20 times before he turns around and sees me standing there, with no cover and no working gun. And to think i sold him paint only to have it end up on me...

I had a problem with my valve, so the guy at the shop had to take my gun apart... well hes not too good at putting them back together... I was playing with it, and my X-chamber (bottom line at the time...) pops off from infront of the grip. I lost all my nitrogen before I could take it out :( (there wasnt much left anyway).

moral - when someone else puts ur gun together... re-do it yourself.

One game i played at a speedball field, there was 3 on 3, it was my 98c and 2 spyders vs. a cocker an impulse and another spyder. Now, mine is user error. Right when the horn blew i pulled up and started to shoot. Except that nothng came out. And when i shot my 2nd shot, it blew up inside the reciever. So i tried a third shot, still nothing. I called myself out and went to the prep area. Upon inspection of my 98c i noticed that the last time i oiled my merker and cleaned it, i accidentally put the ball detent in backwards, so it wasnt letting the paintballs out. I was so mad at myself. I felt so stupid.

I was at skirmish and in the castle tower with 2 of my homies. I was using my 98c cause it shoots far with the flateline(its really the only field where i flateline is usefull) and my friends were shooting an A-5(cause of the flateline), xmag(so sick) with warp feed. In the middle of the game my friend with the x-mag hose came off when shotting and for some reason the warp feed kept going and started shooting balls everywhere. It looked like it was raining paint on our tower. Then he turned his halo off and feed the balls by hand for the rest of the game.

I had my back against a man-made concrete wall at Jungle Island's castle map, and we were losing badly. This guy pops out about 15 feet from me, and I drop to a knee, shooting at him 3 times. After that, my marker didnt recock, I checked safety, shook gun, tried again, All the while he was either sitting there watching me or missing. I freaked out and surrendered (there were 3 guys behind him around the corner)


If only I recocked my gun... I didnt find out that that is what happened until after I got off the field...

Another time, this is my fault though, at SC Village's Beirut map, I sprinted forward, saw a guy about 20 feet from me, pulled the trigger twice, panicked, then dropped to a knee. A paintball rolled out of my barrel.

Turns out that I switched my remote line to my friend's gun so we could get it chronoed. I forgot to turn it back on when I re-attached it to my marker -_-

Surrendering is a common rule at many fields. At my field, an intentional hit at less than 5 feet will get you tossed out.

Wow thats pretty harsh. The 4 closest rec ball fields by me allow bunkering and encourage asking for a surrender, but i have yet to see someone surrender who was over 13 years old.

Yeah and i guess its people like you who dont support the war, but dont mind having other people defend you. But i wont mind that.

Knight, there were many times that I ran out of paint and air and kept playing for my team, holding people back just a little longer. I don't have to shoot to fake them out. It's good to give them another head to shoot at, while your team finishes off the rest or loses. Either way I think the best choice is to go down in flames. I'd rather lose being overrun with overwhelming force than lose because I gave up. When I run out of paint I say, "I'm out of paint, does anyone want me sacrifice so you can get a better position?" Usually the players that know what they are doing will say yes and direct me to which path to run down. I run, get shot up, and keep running until I get to the opposite side and then walk out.

Finally, constructive criticism. I'll keep that in mind next time I run outta balls. I fixed the cocking problem on my marker (somewhat).

If I turned and ran, I would've been shot in the back.

Im not going to argue that surrendering is better than being shot in the back, they both suck.

It happen two weeks ago I was playing woodsball and this kid at the game has a R/T tippmann(holy $h1t) anyways I got
pinned with the kid with the R/T in front,one kid behind me, and one on the right:rolleyes: Then my teammate beside me starts to charge the kid with the R/T:dunce: BAD IDEA he got shot about 20 times in the stomach. Then everyones closing in on me and what do you know...my gas hog tippmann98 just ate my 16oz. The guys hear me swear and charge me.
I got hit 30 times in the chest.:censored:

the very next game that same kid with the R/T shot me 15 times in the leg..I called out and standed up.... BOOM....I get shot with a full auto

so the first few times i use my freestyle i was using old paint. the eye holes on thhe freestyles are paintb traps, you never want to chop or its a few games out and a lot of cleaning. so any way i chopped and then got bunkered cause i wasnt shooting enough i guess. last time i ran out of air and called out, stood up, got shot in the neck a bunch, but i had an adrinaline rush so it wasnt to bad. o and that was the day i traded my reve for an egg:D

Playing a big game w/ about 100 people on a team. Me and two others had been sneaking around trying to get to the red team entrance point. To spawn camp like they had done to us. We decided after a bit to rather go help and take one of the objectives since it was close and we could hear firing. We got to the objective, and then a couple minutes later a red guy came up behind us. It took us a second to both realize we were on opposite teams. I went to fire, but nothing happened. I shook my gun in case for some strange reason my revvy had failed to load paint (impossible, but I was panicking) So the guy got behind some cover before I could eliminate him. Fortunately my little cousin was there and was able to get off a couple shots to push the guy back, or I would have been out.

Turns out my marker had shut itself off because I hadn't used it for several minutes due to our trying to be quiet and sneak up on the red insertion point. I was pissed at myself. And the fact that the On/off button on an Ion is a piece of c***.

A couple weeks ago when i was going paintballing with my dad and bro my marker screwed up. We went to the chrono and my bros didn't work right off the bat, mine and my dad's were shooting hot. So i go try to turn mime down using the reg (i have a spyder with stock reg) and i started to go down. I was like "yeah its going" then i shot some more 240...220...194....140....80...0 and i still havent got it going yet. I am sending in to kingman to get it fixed then i am selling it.

ok this happened to my friend i is hilarious. ok so we r playing in an urban field with trucks and stuff and 2 of my friends went into a truck and closed the doors so no one can get in...or shoo at them. well these two friends were the only ones left on the field. another one of my friends on the other team goes to bunker them (he was going to open the door and shoot them...there were no windows so no one could tell what was happening inside the truck and vice versa....well as one of my friends goes tobunker the 2 ppl in the truck...he opens the door and fires and fires and fires...well....nothing came out...u kno y?...bcz his freagin safety was on...haha i couldn't stop laughing....he got shot soo much :laugh:

playing speedball in freezing weather while it was raining playing one on one when my gun started shooting snow chopped three paintballs jammed up and then i hit my gun and the drop fell off which caused my tank to hit my knee which unscrewed the hose just enough for it to start leaking andd then more to where it was shooting freezing co2 onto my pants and hand until i finally got my bottle off all hen i was twenty feet away from a guy withan imagine on full auto tearing me up magical day

Mine didn't crap out, but...

I had put several drops of oil in my ASA to lube the internals with, dry fired it several times (with the barrel on :|.....), and proceeded to play a game of speedball. It was the easiet elim in the world...he was friggen 15 feet away, and I was in a perfect position to hit him, but my balls were going everywhere.

...I felt like such a newbie after that game...:banghead:

ok my first time playing is for a birthday party BTWthis happened to my friend right everone was using rentals they werent bad but they werent good either so firsdt game its me and my two oter friends we r pinned down in a fort the last guys on r team getting shot at by 8 different ppl so im shooting out a doorway my other freind is shooting out the sniper tower and the other guy is about to shoot out a hole and when he pulled the trigger nothing happened we did everything we also found out that the gun was missing the safety. needless to say we got murdered :eyes: :censored:

I played yesterday, and when I went to chrono, my Tippmann kept uncocking. It kept spiking, went from 140 to 250 :eek:. I had to play at 223 (it' 280 at the field), and everyone thought it was my spring. I was using HPA with an expansion chamber (previously for my C02), so that was why. That's the only thing i didn't think of. Gar, needless to say, I had to use someones Brass Eagle Eradicator :pissed: stupid thing wouldn't work right. Hopper kept falling off, elbow kept turning so the hopper was faced down, I was mad. Now if I want to use HPA on the Tippmann, I have to get a gas through grip...:pissed:

I've used HPA w/ my old spyder clone, which had an expansion chamber, and it worked fine.

At least gas through's are cheap.

Ooh, Ooooooh, I got another!!! Anyway, once again I made my way up the field in a mixed walk on game. I got to the middle of the snake and popped up. The guy in the wedge was leaning out. Basically perpendicular to me. I stared to walk the trigger. *BLOP* balls plopped out of my barrel. I walked more.*BLOOP, Bloop, bloop*. I was done. I called myself out and walked. Turns out I was out of air. Man, Im a newb :P

OK i was fairly new to the game when this happened. First game with my brand new BE murader. So i felt like some hot **** that day. This is how it went. I ran out to a wide open feild in the frist 10 seconds of the game and 90 feet of is my freand with his talon ghost. I fire 6-7 paintballs then my gun went crazy. It wouldent recock but it keep shooting. Like 40 bps on a gravity hopper. I almost crapped my self it scared me so much. by the time i relised what happend and grabed the bolt i had not shot but crushed half the hopper and the rest was trashed. covered in paint. BUt wat happened is the trigger pin came out so the sear was never even close to the stricker. not one paint ball left the barrel after the pin came out. only paint.

Still get laughed at because of that gun

So I've been playing for a few years as a rec, but just last month, I go with my youth group and a guy that actually plays tournys and whatnot happened to be there. We were a church group, so naturally, we let him play with. On the last round, i see this guy hiding in a house and, thinking I got a pretty good fire rate, sneak around to get the element of surprise. Well, being the idiot I am, he saw me and was waiting. By the time I get into a frantic firefight (being the icy nerves I undoubtedly am), my marker would stop cocking. I got plastered with a good ten shots and 3 good trophy welts later, I walk off the field with a crushed spirit, and a bit of a grudge against the guy that lent me his 98c (who says tippys are indestrucible?)

In case you're wondering, I hit him once. :D

ok follks this is it i was using my old tippmann 98 and we were playign some pretty bad guys at paintball and we were all more skilled then them half of it is a hill adn woods annd the bottom is spools and to realy small forts

we run like crazy down the feild half up the hill other threw spool (me) we have them all in one little log bunker it is just funny but everyone on my team by me panzees out and me (pretty slow is stuck doing a flag run) :flagrun: so i do i get to there fort bunker a guy grab the flag trip fall behind the fort the only guy on there team who is decent comes flying down the hill to shoot me easy shot for me but tippy wont shoot so i drop my gun adn run lol my cousin nails him in the butt as gets up he falls agian i made it back but he was 2" away on other side of tenny fort close one

ok this just happend last week i was in houston texas with my cousin's they decided to play a game of paintball at my uncle's pb feild and i didnt have my gun cuz i live in fort worth so i was using a pirana (rental) and it was a private game so rules where absent from this game :) and my team is playing defence on a hill it was 10vs 10 the field had nothing but spools all over it so when my gun stoped cocking i droped it and as i looked over a spool i see about 7 guys charging at us so what do i do ? start rolling spools down the hill :D i knocked down about 4 of them and we end up winning due to my last min. desition

This story is more like me crapping out but oh well.

It was my first game at a crappy field that rented out Talons and had no refs. I got my trusty talon all ready to go, I put on my goggles and ran out to the field with my team. Being a noob, I took off to get the flag without a single person from my team. Eventually, I got lost and my goggles fogged up really bad. I heard a couple shots so I headed towards them. As I got closer to where I thought I heard the shots, I realized I couldn't see crap through my goggles so I reached in and wiped off the fog from the inside and then I saw 3 guys from the other team just running down a wide open path so I took aim and stepped foward a couple steps. As I did, I tripped over a log and fell straight down. My barrel got packed with several inches of mud and needless to say, I lost the opportunity to shoot them.

The only good part about that was that none of them saw or heard me and I never got out.

Ok so today I am playing woodsball. Shooting through 3 games. The screws on my trigger frame on my Goose come loose constantly. ON the third game as I am suppossed to double team this guy getting ready to bunker/own him. And the trigger frame assembly just comes apart and just burps all my Nitro out and lost all the screws. So I played speedball the rest of the day switching off with my friends's Omen and BK4 and well that may be my worst day it may also be my best day because I HAVE FOUND THE GUN I WANT THE BK4! Gosh I love that gun. Anybody wanna buy a Goosey1 that needs lock tight for the screws for about $150 BUT that is being revammped to shoot 15BPS and will be godlike? Nah you probly don't. Oh well. Guess I gotta save up.

My gun didn't really crap out on me. While I was playing at a freinds house, I loaned him my brother M98 and I had my Xtra w/ a booyahh trigger frame. The threads in the trigger frame were stripped like crazy causing my drop to detach from it and make my take hanging down. I had to quickly unscrew the tank, unscrew the expansion chamber, and screw the tank in the VA and proceed to play.

Another game, I make the center 40 and my marker doesn't shoot for some non-apparent reason... so I take it apart, try to fix it, nothing... last two seconds of the game, me and one other guy left on my team.. I finally can shoot, miss cause I had like 5 pbs in the breach, and get shot..

Night game at the local field here, and I ran for the right-side dorito off the break. Wound up there with another guy, so I crouched a couple feet behind the bunker and covered as he moved up the tape. After just five shots, admittedly about as fast as I could pull the trigger on my Xtra (5-8bps? I dunno), the o-ring between my ASA and stainless steel line blew out.

This was my second night out, by the way, and I hadn't gotten any replacement o-rings. So I had to sit out the next two games while one of the guys who worked the sign-in shack fixed my gun.

2vs2 me and my friend matt challenged these two noobs that were like "we have to be on your team" all day. we charge and they both run to the backbunker and hide. matts at the 20 im at the 25 i have them pinned down and matts about to run up and bunker when one start blind shooting everywhere. one of his balls his a bunker richoets off and breaks on matt, he calls him self out. no big i still got these two ***s good, so i run past the bunker but right when i do my co2 runs out. gayest. match. ever.

1 v. 6--- I was using a pump, so i was heavily outguned, which usually dosn't bother me, but you'll see why it did this time... i was hiding behind a small spool/small bush in woodball and all the team mates (near me) get eliminated. then i break a paintball in my gun. spend ~30 seconds cleaning it. then i break another paintball. after that happened ~3 times, i finally gog a kid... he wipes.:pissed: I also nailed this *** 3 times, but he was wearing so many sweatshirts that they all bounced... then i gog him. I decide to do a run through and my gun decides to break paint... again.:pissed: So i decide to just grab the flag and run, right when i get to the flag, the game ends.:rolleyes:

A game of 4 vs. 4 speedball. Well theres 2 newbs lying down behind a snake(stupid i know) well i went to bunker them only to realize that my friends ion with 20 oz co2 (yeaht hats right co2 without a anti-siphon) well yeah, it froze with the bolt half way to the ball, i stop right overtop of the snak adn my paintball falls out right on top of them. My jaw is dropped and im jsut standing there when all of a sudden i got lit up by 2 newbs..:(
