yes, put some blue loctite (not red) on your feed tube's threads. you could put red if you wanted to, but i do not suggest it.

a vice and a leather belt or rubber strap work really well, but so does a big wrench ;)
...the only difference is that with the big wrench, the anodizing can get scraped off and with the belt or starp, it retains its clean finish.

well i listened to bob Vila and got my Craftsman Strap wrench
you and him both know all:wink2:
yeah my stock impy came with green locktite, and it came off while i was putting on my hopper. use blue locktite. not red though, because tehn it will be almost impossible to get off.

red loctite is holds two the threads together just as strongly as welding them together (basically for our needs). red loctite is never suggested. red loctite can actually lead you to strip the threads/fitting
blue loctite holds threads together strongly enough to never let them unscrew, due to vibration or friction, but it isn't to strong and let the user easily disassembly the parts.
green loctite is a tiny bit stronger than Elmer's Glue (that stuff you used to put on pretzels and eat in 2nd grade).
"gooderness":
blue>red>green
strongness:
red>blue>green
suggested:
only blue
also, when blue loctite dries, it turns almost green (a very very green shade of blue).
