Well I'm thinking about trading because i get alot out of it but i'm wondering how old this Bushmaster is. Its a First Generation and i'm planning on getting it milled somewhere.

Anyone know how old this bushy is? The guy doesn't know. Its Silver and the sn is SN:1016. So... anyone know the year it was made? 98,99,00?? I'll delete this thread after i get an answer. Thanks

First generations were made in 1998 .. dont be fooled!! It was made in 98' but called the bushmaster 2000 .. some ppl get confused because ppl call the new generations bushmaster 2002s (the "x swoosh" milling), but its really a Bushmaster 2000, not a 2002.

Anyway i like 1st generations..they look cool. they dont have a battery door, so it may be a little more of a hassle to change the battery since yo uhave to take of teh tray instead of unscrew the battery door.

it shoudl be ok if you get new springs for reg (6$ from icd)
