Have you ever been in a predicament like this! We had just flushed out the forth man of their six man team (the first three were already eliminated) He was high tailin it across the wooded area, So as I rushed in to finish him off, throwing a string of paint at his fleeing backsides and paying no attention to anything other than my darting enemy. When outta nowhere their number five man comes outta screaming at the top of his lungs Surrender! Surrender!! I turned around and screamed back just as loud No way! You Surrender! A strange hush fell around us. We were literally standing toe to toe in the center of the woods, barrels pointing and eyes buggin' what seemed to be an eternity. The next only logical thing to do was put a tree in between us and start a discussion, and a very twisted and bizarre version of round and round the May-Pole, Well the forth man who incidentally had just been bite by my Impulse found this most amusing.
Now in all honesty I'd love to tell ya we both went out in a blaze of glory! But their forth man had me laughin' so hard, I folded! And walked off, Has anything as bizarre as this ever happened to any of you?

the closest ive ever been to that is a 13 foot stand off where he was behind a teepee and i was behind some logs. he was laying down some serious cover fire and i was too but i had the griffin at the time and it bew the fat green one so i was sucking wind on that experience. he got out due to blind firing so i win :):):):)

I was in a bunker that overlooks a creek when my gun broke. The other team was coming up the creek as I was ducking down and trying to fix my gun. A kid from the other team spotted me and started sneaking up on me. Just as I fixed my gun he said surrender, but even know he was only 5 feet away, he didn't have a clear shot at me because of the brush and the fact he was a couple more ft down on the embankment. I nealed up and pressed the trigger, but the gun didn't fire. The next thing I knew the kid had already unloaded half a clip on me with his pt extreme from 5 feet away.

I was at the local field with new players playing 6 on 6, lost 5 of my team to only 3 of their's. I was behind this bunker made of tires, I knew they would be coming up on me so I laid flat on my back and began to slowly back up waiting very patiently. The 3 came up on me at the same time yelling surrender! surrender!1 from the right, 1 from the left and 1 over the top. I got the over the top guy easy, the guy on the right was a bit tougher and the man on the left hit me twice in the shin at less than a foot, as he crawled around the bunker but I got him at the same time in the back, the ref called it a simo kill, it is a given now at my field that I won't surrender

Once, my friend and I were playing 1 on 1, and we were like 10 feet away from each other, kneeling on the ground, markers pointed at each others chests. We then went hand to hand fist fighting :P

That has to be a first.. going hand to hand during a paintball game. Also taking prisoners during a scenario game, taking them to base for interrogation, then taking them over to a hill near the front lines and executing them :P That rocked

That happened to me one time...this dude was hiding in the weeds and popped up like a few feet from me............then he stood there. I took my marker and aimed and shot at his hopper just to be nice:rolleyes:

Another time the same thing happened and this guy was like 10 feet from and started opening fire at me...but every ball broke in his barrel:laugh: So...naturally I gogged him. It was weird because he was yelling really loud the entire time...he was like "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...chop...WAAAAAAAAAAAAH...chop...W AAAAAAAH...chop..." you get the picture

Me and my friend came up with this crazy game where we stand back to back, walk 20 steps, turn around and unload on each other, the winner being whoever gives up from the PAIN. So I had my automag and he had his flatline, and we did this and we both chopped, lol. We were sitting there firing like maniacs, watching our balls swerve away from each other just before they hit. After awhile they started flying straight, but not quite straight enough. I shot him once in the "hind quarters", which unfortunatly for me deflected it. Finally we gave up. The cool thing is as they were flying semi straight, I saw multiple times when they hit in mid air, so it was really cool. We did go on to do it again, and I got shot in the same finger about 3 times with bare hands, so he won lol.

Ok i think this is so funny heres my story:( icant believe it happened)Well before we headed out for some odd reason i put 1 paintball in my pocket and i didnt know why. After we got done we decided to play ONE last game and we were playing 2 hits and ur gone.Well it got down to me and my bro and he called himself out.So when i go over to him he said "man that was fun"Then i said "Ya it was and i just ran outta paint"Then i looked at the hit and said"Thats not a quarter size" then he looked at me and lughed and told me to back my but up and or he will shoot(4 ft away)Then we were doing ring around the rosey me trying to talk him outta hitting me.So i took my tank off and remembered i had 1 ball left and he needed one hit to be eliminated.I attached my tank and he asked me what i was i doing and i said to finish all my air outta it.He said ok and he goes "Im get this thing over with" and he pointed the gun at me and started to count down from 5.I rushed and got the ball outta my pocket and put it in my hopper and said "HA, UR DEAD" and shot him!Hha it was hilarious!

I don't like standoffs. I just shoot. I counterbunkered my bro when there was a 10 foot bunker rule. He ran and slid in ont he opposite side of the bunker. Because he slid, he did not have time to go over the top to say I was bunkered. I popped up over the top before he could get off the ground and we both reflexively pulled the trigger. His shot missed whereas mine landed on his tank. He didn't know he was shot at first and we were arguing over who was out when these newbies lit up my bro that were on his team.
My bro and I don't care if we get lit up 5 feet away and we occasionally take each other out this way. I think it was because when we were newbies we played on this field with DENSE foilage. We always ended up in firefights 10-20 feet away from each other. Also we noticed the element of surprise was greatest when you take the most land at the break. One guy would hang back and distract the enemy at the start while the other guy was rushing straight at them unseen.

mine was in the woods a few weeks ago, a 3v3 my 2 guys got out like 1 minute in so did one of the other guys, somehow the last 2 on the other team didnt see me so i jumped up and got one of them out, lit him up (he was really bruised up i shot him from like 10 feet away!) then i ran back behind this huge tree, i got a flatline and the last kid left has an a-5 w/ a 16 inch boomstick, we fought for like 15 minutes running tree to tree when finnaly at the same time he ran out of paint and i ran out of air......for some reason i think that is the best 1v1 i ever had, whoever sais a flatline cant do rapid fire is wrong!

On about my second day, I had a standoff like that. I was playing with this kid, Twiggy, who is a bad sport, cheats, and hardly ever stops shooting. In fact, most of his shooting is done out of game. But anyway, we were playing in a wooded area and it was just me and him left, so I grew some testicles and rushed in to shoot him. He was in a small thicket of trees and I just kept shooting until he said he was out. I think he got me a few (hundred) times too, but I got him out first. I shot him way too many times.

i must of be on somthing that day but my story is took place when it was a capture the flag. I was guarding the center point where the flag was to be hung. my team got the opponents flag and brought it the that point. i shot at them not knowing it was my own team. there was 5 members of my own team shooting back at me thinking that I was the bad guy. they made me surrender. Man that sucked:(

Yesterday at our first tourney ever, my teammates and I rushed for the flag as soon as we elimated the opposing team's back player. Well, there was a bunker behind the bunker which held the flag, so me and my teammate stay there while my front man goes to get the flag. Well, he grabs for the flag, then it gets pulled back! So he pulls again; obviously, there was another guy on the other side of the bunker. My teammate goes 'Gimme the flag!' and the other goes 'No, YOU gimme the flag!' while both were laughing (my team and the opposing team for that match had become buddies before the match). They is a strict rule of being 10 feet away from an opposing teammate at all times, but it took the refs awhile to back my front man back up because they were laughing so hard. Unfortunately, the refs gave the first flag pull to the opposing team (10 points), but we continued to eliminate all of their players and get the flag hang (20 points per elimination, 30 points for flag hang= 90 points out of a possible 100) ;)
