what do you think i should get i have money to get either one but i have a couple of questions
(stock for stock)
1. which gun is faster?
2. which gun is better for woodsball?
3. what makes the gun that you choose better than the other?
4. which gun is more reliable?

please explain why an a-5 is better in the woods than an imp is. the fact is, it's not. unless you plan on filling the thing with leaves or dirt, the imp is vastly superior over the a-5.

Imp hands down is faster
no gun is better for woods ball. You can use just about anything in woodsball, just dont be a noob and pretend its a tippmann and drop it in the sand or make it "eat" sticks
I would choose the imp because i like the feel better and its faster. Imps also have a reputation. They are used because they work. Tippmanns are also relyable. The only difference is you cant leave an imp in the rain then run it over with a truck and expect to play with it.

Not if u have the imp you need HPA and a decent loader.

Impulse w/o question. But cockers are better than impys, as are mags. check them out

IMO no mech cocker is better than an Imp....I've never shot a mag, but I definitley wouldn't take a Classic Mag over an Imp....

Imp is fine, but from what I hear, I'd get a B2k4.



Sort of a silly question. There is no such thing as a gun that's better for woodsball. What matters anywhere is, reliability, speed, and efficiency. I mean, a pink gun wouldn't be the best choice.

a-5 doesn't even compare to an imp. Definatly get the imp if your getting a gun out of those two.
If not, then pick up either a cocker, b2k4, mag, or something along those lines, just because im not the biggest fan of imps.

Shockers better then the impulse stock, but I wouldn't suggest it. You seem to have quite a bit more money then the bko cost if you're looking into shockers. I'd still suggest the b2k4.

Old thread but hey. Just had to say that the only gun by SP thats actualy refered to as a shoebox is the shocker... :rolleyes: Afterall the "extra" weight on an impulse compared to a B2K4 can be made up on buying alighter HPA tank, its only like .25 pounds heavier.
