you can put a drop forward on just about any paintgun
the best way to improve your accuracy is with a aftermarket
barrel or the cci nickel phantom barrel and use good paint that
matches the barrel id

You must a metal 45 block of some sort to have a drop, and as far as the rest of you questions go, the stock barrel will do close to the best outa all the options, if you want quiet, buy a AA for the beast, but be prepared to watch the shots outa 1 12 gram drop.

You don't need a drop on a Phantom...and if you do....you shouldn't even be running a tank that big....it's not worth it! AS I stated in the above thread.
For accuracy, distance, and quiet......your money lies in an 11" CCI Nickel Barrel.....I gotta say I love mine. for 48 $....you won't find a barrel or a deal better than that.
And you don't need to upgrade any of the internals. They are jsut about as good as they will get already. Have faith.

learn to aim ^_^ that'll help you shoot more accurately than any new fancy barrel will... not a flame, just a fact...
phantoms ROCK out of the box, there's really no need to change a thing, aside from how you like your air setup.
there's nothing wrong w/running a DF on a phantom, if it helps you shoulder the gun and balance it, and you like the feel, go for it!
the only stupid air setup on a pump I've seen were some 'tricked out' DYE buzzards at one of the shops in town... they had gas-thru grips in the verty, w/macroline going down to the quickchanger, which was mounted on a DYE DF??? all match ano'd, of course, but can you say LAME??? geez...
