Hey,
I just bought a new impulse basic, no vision eye, I did get a halo B hopper though, my question is will i be choping balls if im shooting 15 bps without vision. I also dont have the money to buy a W.A.S. board or any other board, so can you help me out and tell me your opinion?

you WILL NOT chop. you board is capped so low (@13.7 bps) and your hopper can feed so fast (@20+bps) that unless your hopper is about to run out of balls, you will never chop. just keep your halo full, and you'll be fine... guarenteed!

no, if you order on, and it says they are in stock, you should get it in 1-2 weeks. yeh, the impulse is capped at 13.7 bps with the stock non vision board... and the vision board is capped at 20bps...

hes right with such a fast hopper it will be really hard to break balls. Test it on another gun if you want. I did this, took a 98c loaded it up with a standard gravity hopper, and outshot it. What do you know i broke a few balls. Put a reloader b on that thing and no more balls breaking. The only way you'll break a ball is if the bolt is closing faster than pbs are feeding....and in your set up 22bps (halo b i think) feedrate and 13 bps fire rate.

i dont know how but some how i still manage to chop on a Halo B....... and im using the standard blu light cricket w/o vision.

then again does anyone else's halo sound like its reving (like an engine) when it feeds?

yeh, it should... you just need to keep you hopper full and you wont chop. check your detents-they might be letting the gun chop...
