the manifold style Maxflo's are great tanks.
I have been using one on my freestyle for a little over a month now and it works great.

Mafty - buy a preset tank ( if you are looking at new. the air systems forum can help you out with best choices.) If someone is selling you a used one at an ungoldy low price, yes it will work. Your gun already has a dual regulator system and by adding this you will now have three regulators to get set properly before you get on the field.
bulzeye - you also have a dual regulator gun and are now running three regulators. Do you actually use the Smart Parts regulator to make tuning adjustments or just use it like a preset? Just curious as to why you like it.

The Maxy actually is a good tank, I have to give SP credit for that.
I'd agree, if you are getting a used one for a super low price, then I guess you might as well get it. It'll work fine on a BKO. But you dont really need it, it wont do anything to improve the gun's performance. A Crossfire preset will work just as well, cost way less, be lighter, and means you have one less regulator to maintain (I've replaced o-rings in a couple max-flos for ppl).
If you really want an adjustable system, get a MACDev Conquest. Its as small and as good as the new 04 Flo and costs $100 less. For the same price as the manifold max-flo you could get a much better Conquest.

I totally agree with lotus on this one. If I wouldnt have been playing around the FAQs I would have post the exact same thing.
