Whats with the .7 on the cap, why didnt they just cap it at 13?
naught

just a percent...you cant ever shoot 13.7 (well you can but that means a chop) its the same thing as saying the average family has 2.4 kids....

it wont let you shoot more than one shot every .0729 seconds is why its .7

mmmmk but with good paint and a fast hopper you shouldn't have that bad of chopping problems.
Anyways how much is a new board? or can I do anything to uncap it?
buy WAS. basically it means that when you hit the ROF cap, in one second, your gun will cycle 13 times, but will be 70% into a 14th cycle. so imagine if you could freeze your gun in one second your bolt would be about 70 percent forward.

riiiiigggghhhht ikey, 70% forward  ...
you can make your own ECS cable and program your own board to be uncapped and have different modes of fire, but you can't do it to all stock impulse boards. ECS's site doesn't seem to be working right now, but once it is i'll post a link.
as far as new boards go, there are only three upgraded impulses board, and only one of them i worth owning, the WAS board. There is also a Genesis Board (no vision, see my review of it), Genesis Vision Board (same but with eye system), and Stock Smart Parts Vision.
You can also custom wire s morlock or preditor board, but unless you like to solder, you should just buy a WAS board.

and the new Mini-Morlock is now for sale too, same as the morlock but about 2/3 the size!!!
well how else do explain 13.7 bps? its not 13 bps, its not 14 bps, so it must be 13 shots and 7/10 of a cycle.

you cannot program an impulse board for it to complete and percentage of a cycle, unless you calculate exactly how long it take for the bolt to more forward and then when the cap is hit, have the dwell lowered to complete less than one cycle. it is extremely hard, and pointless to do. another reason the .7 doesn't mean that the bolt moves 70% forward is because the shot timer (the thing that make the cap-which is programed to allow a certain amount of time to run out before the gun can cycle again, and cannot be lower than the dwell) would need to be programed to be less than the dwell, something that isn't gonna happen...
the 13.7 bps reffers to an average shot per second count. all that .7 tells us is that the shot timer is 72.9927007ms (with 27007 repeating forever) long...

hey bud, i think when they say 13.7 it describes the time in between the balls. So divide 1/13.7=0.072992701 time between balls. So you can shoot every
0.072992701 seconds....
Edit: awww the guy above me posted while i was typing
wow....yeah i never though of that dwell time thing. yeah ur right. damn ur paintball smart.

yes it does:

Non-Vision - 13.7
Vision - 20
WAS Equalizer - Adjustable up to 30 in Eye Mode 1; Unlimited in Eye Mode 2; 13 in bypass mode.
I thought that SP capped it at 13.7 because they capped it at balls per minute instead of balls per second. They capped it at 822 balls per minute, and that equals 13.7bps. Maybe I'm mistaken?

considering the stock board was what capped it so low... yes. i would suggest waiting though, EPBO is gonna come out with their own board just like that but with better programing and an eye system all for 60$, so i would wait for that.
