they are what you call a paint blender..they will chop balls like none other..The M98 wasn't made for rof that fast, and it will chop...it's not worth the money to get it..IT doesn't matter how fast it shoots..you gotta worry about if it will work or not..

there is a guy at our field with one and he doesn't break a ball more than anyone else at the field. you can get carried away with it, but you just have to limit your firing.

The RT trigger is only available for the M98 Custom and not the original M98.

I am assuming we are talking about the original M98 right?

I tried it, and thought it was just okay. If you set it reactive enough to improve your ROF, you'd shoot too fast to chop, and if you turned it down enough not to chop, it felt nice, but not nice enough to justify the cost

1. The RT trigger is available for the original 98. You have to send it to tippman and they will install it.

2. My backup marker is a original 98 RT. I have not had a chopping problem with it, as long as I don't set it too fast. I just bought the armson powerfeed and a 12v revy for it and that allows you to feed and shoot around 9bps just fine. I've used it in a couple of games when I just wanted to wast paint, or give the cocker a rest.(I will be using it this weekend because I made the mistake of buying something from ANS..a different story all together. I should have listened to counterfeit) With a decent barrel its even fairly accurate.

Totally understandable. I wouldn't have know about it if it wasn't for the store owner of the local pro shop clueing me in. I got mine before the Custom was released. I saw one and fell in love with it.....:)
