Alright, i have my imp running at about 130-140 psi right now with N.D rip valve, ram housing, sst hammer, silk shot hammer, tape worm, and back cap. I want to know whether to buy an Low pressure or high pressure nitro tank because i also have a 2k4 prostock autococker that i would wanna run my nitro off of. What would be the advantages of having a LP tank? And would a HP tank hurt the gun at all?
no get HP. LP= bad. i mnea an impy will run fine off of LP. in fact, you probably wont know the difference. but the maxflow reg runs the best off of an input pressure ranging from 650-850 psi. so you want HP. and no, HP wont hurt your gun at all, that is wat a reg is for. you maxi lowers the pressure. but you cocker has a reg on it too, so you can run that off of HP. the only guns that you really want LP tanks for are guns like timmys where the reg is reccomended for a maximum input of 600 psi. then, you need a LP tank. what kind of a reg do you have on you cocker

exactly what he said....Which makes me come the the conclusion if theres any real reason why there are LP tanks...heh
well like i said, some guns need it. like timmys, the torpedo reg is strongly reccomended for a maximum input of 600 psi. you probably could use a HP tank. most other LP tanks are the really top of the line ajustable ones like a conquest, or maxflow tank that can be adjusted from like 0 to 1000 psi or something like that. that way the tanks can be used with nay kind of marker. (they are generally better performing tanks also.

Guys, LP tanks work with Impulses. My friend has had one on his for a year now with absolutely no problems.
yes i said it would work completely fine. but maxflow regs work thier BEST with an input pressure or 650-850 psi. so yeah impy will run great with LP, but better with HP.
