Hi:

I have heard that when plaing with a Desert Fox or the DF deluxe that the barrel comes loose because of the vibration and can fall out or stays loose and cause ball breakage.

Is this true.

What can you do to prevent the barrel from coming loose. I was going to get a Desert Fox until i heard about this.

I saw a post on pbreview.com about this matter and the person recommended me to put TAPE on the barrel and gun.

That says cheap !! :(

If i get a new barrel like the lapco will it still comes loose during play and moving the gun too much and what can i buy to prevent this.

im afraid to say it is true. the barrel can come loose after a while of playing. with my cat, i put a bit of electical tape on it and go play. its just one of those things, like with every gun.

Put an o-ring on your barrel. (A tank o-ring will work, but you have to stretch it.) My Autococker had the same problem.

I had the loosening problem with the stock barrel, but not anymore with a DYE. Regardless, i just got used to tightening it before i went on the field.
