How to- Remove Impulse Feedneck.

So I got my Rat today, and I can;t seem to get the feedneck off, I've looked around and cant find anything on it.


I sound like a N00b, but I just can;t figure this out...:(

Strap wrench and muscles. If that doesn't work then find more muscles. If that doesn't work then heat up the feedneck base a little to soften the loctite and then muscles and strap wrench.

Yeah, it's probably loctited. Just put the hair dryer up to it for about 3-4 minutes and then maybe use a strap wrench if you need to.


You're a pretty big guy, I think you can do it. ;)

IMO, while hair dyers will work, they arn't a very good way to get the tube off because you need to "dry" the gun with hot air for like at least 30 minutes... just get a vice, or a very big claping wrench, and a leather belt or metal strap. wrap the strap/belt around the tube, the screw it off with the wrench/vice. if you don't care about scratching the tube, forget the belt/strap.
