I have been referred to Zap paintballs since I shoot a 2001 LCD Angel because they are very unbrittle. Are they really good in my situation? If not, what paintballs do you recommend? I have a .688 barrel back so I'd need something that would fit well. Anyways, which type of Zap would suit me best?

Use Chronic, it shoots beautiful through almost any gun and its pretty cheap.

most of my friends and I use DBX since were on budgets, i usually find em for $20 for 1000 and 35 for 1500 plus the free case. Lets just say its flies better than BE PB's and will go through most brush (for me atleast.)
