you can just install the vision yourself if you have a double ball detent. otherwise SP won't install it on an older body.

so i dont have to have a so high serial number? any impulse can get vision?
double ball detents have been on Impulses for about 2 months now. There are some Impulses tath are "vision ready" without the double ball detents.
1- look on the right side of the gun by the ball detent-- is there a little "window" there covered by a tiny peice of sheet metal-helt in place with a very small screw?
2- on the side of your grip frame- is there a long black rubber cover over scveral windows cut in the frame.
IF you have both 1 and 2-- you are about 99% for drop in Vision upgrade.
If you have 1, but not 2, you can have a vision upgrade for a very small amount of milling (not a do it your self thing)
If you don't have 1 or 2-- it can still be done- but it gets very costly, and you might want to just sell off your gun and buy one that is Vision capable.
If you have both 1&2, you can get an upgrade for around $200 If you need milling, the cost will be over $300
