Has anyone tried to saw the front grip off? I don't plan on getting an expansion chamber, and I really don't like the placement. I would rather have it feel more like a rifle. Has anyone else done this? Anyone know of potential problems it might cause?

Errrr... then why get the Tippman in the first place. I am guessing you have the flatline, which may have been the reason. I am pretty sure you can saw it off, , but make sure to cover up the hole, perhaps wield it shut. That is the great thing about the tippy, you can do almost anything to it.

Just remove the lower half of the handle by removing the screw. Then plug the whole with a cork from the hardware store... Why are you doing this again?

I got the Tippmann because from what I read, they seem to be the best guns. And yes, I have the Flatline. I would just remove the lower half of the handle, but it leaves an annoying little nub.
The second handle makes it more like a sub-machine gun. I feel like I have less control over the gun. And when I lay it out, I don't want the handle to raise the gun up, or get snagged on anything. It's a minor issue, but I thought I'd see if anyone else had done it, and how.
Also, does anyone know a good way to dull the shine on your mask? Should I just scuff it up a little?

JizzMonkey, how did you actually saw off the handle? And what did you use to plug up the hole? Do you regret doing it?

yeah. all I did was got out a steel saw and a welding tourch and got 2 work. I do have some regrets because it feels kinda funny without the front grip (not as stable). Good thing about it was I welded a ring onto it so I could put the strap on. (note: Aluminium sheet metal works best)

If you remove the foregrip and saw your stock barrel down to 4 inches, bulk up the barrel's outside diameter with PVC so it looks like a silencer, you have one MEAN looking Tippmann hogleg ala Desert Eagle. Nasty.

Kinda makes it look like the pro/carbine when it has a flatline barrel :D
