Alright.

Where do you guys get your paint/C02? Also, how much does it cost? I am trying to avoid Sports Authority as much as possible, because they tend to rip us off.

Another thing: Where do you buy most of your stuff? Online shipping can be a *****, as I'm sure you all know, and saving money is one of my primary concerns =D

Oh, where's a good place for n00bs like myself to learn and get better at paintball? I really like bellows, but I'm sure there's other places... I've played at Nimitz and that was 'ok'...

I think that's it... And thanks for your time!

Doodler, I wish I could help you out more, but I am on the Big Island. However I have check out Xtreme paintball near pearlridge, and Central paintball right next to Queens Hospital. Those are a few places that I have been to, and so you might want to check out.

As far as getting things online, you have to do a lot of research. A lot of different online stores stock different items, and ship using different methods. Because we live in Hawaii it's hard, I tend to order things from places that offer USPS shipping. I usually will buy stuff from www.bbtpaintball.com, they have some pretty good prices, and you can also request USPS shipping to keep costs down. If your going to order a lot of stuff at one time, then maybe shipping costs become more realistic. If not then you can probably just go check out your local stores.

A few of my friends have had the chance to order from www.paintballarmory.com, and they offer free overnight shipping...EVEN TO HAWAII (Well that is what a friend said, but I would email them, and ask)

Thanks for all of your comments, guys! I'll definately ask about paintball armory...

I'd still like some good locations for C02 and Paint...

for CO2 and paint fills, it's hard to beat Xtreme in PC... prices are good, but I wouldn't ever shop there for spare/replacement parts...

I tend to stay away from PB Central... from what I gather, unless you're 'in' w/the guys who work/hang out there, the prices can get a little pricey... $20 for a cocker ball detent??

If you're shopping for gun parts, and some misc. stuff, check out http://www.g3pb.com Terry is a great guy to deal with, and ships everything priority mail (cheap, esp. for us out here ^_^)

I kinda dig playing at bellows... seems to be a friendly enough place for some laid back rec ball...

for fills on co2 you ca try wat me and my friends did. You split the price of a twenty pound scuba tank. and it'ss cost you twenty dollars to fill it. buy a fill station. and in the long run like in a year you'll endup saving about a hundred dollars on co2. only downer is that the tank is two hundred dollars.

I normally fill my air and buy most of my paint from Xtreme Paintball on Moanalua road. Their prices are fairly reasonable and the guys who work there are pretty cool too. As for gaining paintball knowledge, these forums themselves are an excellent wealth of information. This is where I get most of my paintball know-how from. :)
