I've never had problems with anything getting stolen at any of the fields I've been to. My friends and I always leave our gear bags sitting on top of the picnic tables. I always try to make sure though that money, keys, and those kind of items aren't sticking out though, but otherwise I never even have thought about somebody going through my bag while I'm out playing.

Well the only indorr plave i been so far was island paintball here in NY and they have large wooden crates attached to the floor at the end of each table. They lend you a lock for ti along with your days admission so Ive never had any problems there. Im going to HI velocity for the first time next week I hope its as safe.

those wooden crates sound like a pretty cool idea. especially since they give you a lock to use, with the admission fee.
I kinda wish that Jaeger's here in KC would do something like that.
this is pretty much the exact opposite of what we've been talking about in this thread, but I feel that it's pertinant, so I'm gonna post it.
when we went to go down and check out Jaegers, my buddy had his bag sitting out on the table. Nobody was really messing with it, which was a good thing, but it kinda had me worried. Especially later on in the evening, when the place really started filling up. Well anyway, my buddy was using a black v-force. (Armor...I think).
and one of the kids at the next table, was also using a black v-force. (no clue what type, I wasnt paying a whole lot of attention to his mask).
we are getting ready to leave, and this kid comes up to grizz and asks him if he's got his mask. Not QUITE accusing him of stealing it, but not quite NOT accusing him of stealing it either.
Anyway, grizz stops, opens his bag right there in the middle of the floor and lets the kid inspect his bag and his mask. kid just walks off without an apology, or thanking him for showing him, or anything.
Two minutes later when we are at the exit, we see the kid finding his mask that he had left sitting in the proshop!

ya i had someone eye my gun and pick it up before at the field....he didnt go anywhere with it, just picked it up and held it, so i went over to him and said why are you touching my gun, he said he liked it and wanted to see it lol...he could have at least asked me, if he was going to steal it he wouldnt have made it, me and my two teamates were watching. We have a rule where at least one of us stays with our stuff at all times between games (when we dont carry them around like babies which is most of the time)

ive never had a peice of gear stolen, all my stuff is either to rare/unquie to attempt to steal, not worth taking or on me at all times. You won't get to far if you take one of my markers with my call sign in big letters on the side, or one of my guns ive modded out with stuff ive built in my welding shop.

I need to get this out of my system:
Anyone thaat would steal a E spyder is most likley ignorant about paintball AND a regular theif. Thiefs REALLY piss mr off. I once had a half brother (30 at the tiem) steal a LOT of stuff that I had inhearated from my dad that had died just a week or two earlier. It wasent neccicary or valuable stuff, but it ment alot to me. So, I freaked out and chased him out of my house with a baseball bat, and if it were not for my mom and sister, he would nolonger be alive today. Then he had the balls to come back AGAIN and take MORE stuff (my mom was too sad to even ntice what was happening) But, I was ready, I had made a "spike strip" out of thumb tacks and nails. he never got in the driveway before I was outside with that baseball bat, I have hever seen him, or heard from him sinse. o bot
Thieves need to get shot:pissed:

Can you add your marker to an insurance policy? I have my Stump Jumper (high end bike) on mine. Why couldn't you do it with a marker that costs around the same (i.e angels, e-cockers)?
DarkeWolf
03-31-2005, 09:20 PM
you can insure just about anything. but you have to prove to the insurance agent, that its worth insuring. Basically, show them how much the marker is worth. If the premium that they pay out is less, than the marker is worth, then it wouldnt be worth insuring it.
