What is a Microswitch, what do they do?

Hi, i noticed peoples gun setups and some people have 50g microswitches or something like that.
I didnt know where to put this thread because its not really a marker thing so i choose general paintball.

so what is a microswitch?
what do they do?

where do you buy them and stuff, dont have to answer this but u can if u just know one of the top of your head.:laugh:

its the thing that a trigger or something in conjunction with the trigger pushes which then starts the firing process.

50grams refers to weight, and its really freaking light considering spyder stock switches are around 250grams (i think?)...
