I was at home depot today getting stuff to fix up my garage, and I thought to get a thing of lube for my marker. Well I had heard from greg at ICD that white lithium can eat away at o-rings, and the such so he doesn't use it. I was thinking I had clear lithium, but it wasn't. It is Multi-purpose lithium grease from lubrimatic. Will this work on my BKO? here is a link to what I grabbed http://automotive.gillroys.com/Engine_lubricants_and_additives/Grease_cartridges/Multipurpose_Lithium_Grease-s590614.html
Any help is appreciated.

You don't know if it will work but you're recommending it...that makes lots of sense.

IDK if it holds true for high-end/electro markers
(it works for mechanicals) but there are many who recommend oils that are formulated specifically for pneumatic tools. You can pick them up at most any Lowe's or Home Depot type store.

read the back.. if it contains any petroleum or oil... it wont be good for the marker

use the following:

DOW 33/55 from pb shops
"Lube Gel" from RadioShack
"Slick Honey" from most bicycle shops

in the short run.. other lubs might see fine... but it will either swell or damage the orings in the long run

i use slick honey and love it but it can be a bit pricey. GregICD has recommended the lube from radio shack on numerous occasions and I believe he also made mention that is what they use at ICD.
