i wanna get a pump

i want to get a pump to use as an alternative to my semi and i was wondering what i should get. i was looking at a phantom an a sl-68. i was wondering what gun would be better.

Hands down a Phantom.

I used mine for the first time last night and it was amazing.
It's really simplistic to take a part and maintain.
It had great accuary.
And I was running co2(bottom line,back bottle) and the consisting was between 235-240.
Which is very good.

I don't know much about the Sl-68,well i do know that the Phantom is better :P

Phantoms are supposed to be some of the best pumps. SL-68 II is just ok. I would get a phantom i think.

I am interested in buying a stock class phantom, im pretty new to the terminology of pumps so bare with me. I am hoping to find it for sub 180, cause i don't want to spend to much. Could you guys tell me where to buy it at the cheapest price? Thanx in advance.

www.countypaintball.com sells a regular stock class for 190. Thats the best your going to get new buddy. save a little more and buy from him. thats where i bought mine, and he has the BEST service around.

Whoa, hold on, I can't believe people would recommend a phantom over a SL-68 II without knowing about the SL or what kind of player you are. I own a SL-68 II because it's the best pump you can get to compete on a field with semi's, it can not be broken(all metal), it's super gas effient(650 shots from a 12oz), and the most accurate gun out of the box or otherwise. If you want to snipe like me, you'll be invincible after a few months. If spray and pray is you thing, I find it fun to spray death with the auto trigger.(use good paint, marbelizer,hellfire) You can learn to arc shots and frag up to 200ft or accurately hit within 60ft, STOCK.
The Sl-68 is the best pump for snipers, outdoor players, or just old school players like me. For indoor games use the phantom.

SL-68 Cons- Heavy, Chops Cheap Paint, Only 1 after-market barrel

Phantom Pros-accurate, fairly durable plastic parts, lots of after-market parts
Cons-short range, plastic parts, sux outside
