Uhm.. what kind of post is this? I'm not trying to cause flames... but if you look at the thread title "If You Could Shoot Any Animal..." it sounds kinda... wrong. First off, WHY would you want to shoot an animal? I even think hunting for recreation is wrong. Anyway, too many threads that don't make any sense. Just my opinion..

i actually shot a chipmunk off of a branch with my pgp, i was about 20 yards away and didnt think i was actually gonna hit it so i took a shot. i knocked it off the branch(branch was about a foot off the ground), but i didnt injure it cuz i saw it run away. maybe gave it a bruise

Actually I must say that I am against the useless shooting of any animals with paintball guns but I used to live on a registerd ranch and it was lawful and moral to shoot and kill (Yes with a real live gun) any animal that threatend or distressed the livestock. Instead of cappin doggies with my shotgun I deffered to my paintball gun which not only did I get no repeat offending dogs back but I did not kill the animal! Was that wrong?
And any of you treehuggers out there whineing about this thread (not that I personally condone it but..) the first uses of a paintball gun was by cattlemen to "select" certain cows out of a herd. So one of the first uses of the paintball gun was to shoot animals! But ya there is always the wacko that is going to use his semi on a errant poodle and give the game a bad name...
There are exceptions to all rules but lets just keep our PBG's aimed at people on the field and not scruffy on the sidewalk!

Yes, well there is a purpose to that. Those dogs would be causing trouble with the livestock. That's fine, and understandable. Sitting on your porch in a rocking chair with a shotgun across your lap, just waiting for some dogs to "come a tresspassin on ma land" is ignorant and stupid.

I believe they were first used....and made just for..... the forestry that used them from thier trucks to mark trees that were to be taken down...

there was a mortally woounded deer where i was playing about a month ago, some vultures came in a little prematurely and started pecking at it. lets just say My paintball gun got some vulture action that day. oh yeah the deer died the next day. two days later the deer was completely gone....wierd.

i shoot my gun at coyotes when they are outside my house because they eat my kitties. I've nevr hit one but they've already eaten one of my families cats.

P.S I am not a redneck I live in CA I just want to protect my cats.

Also, if I HAD to shoot an animal, I would shoot one of those dogs with the thick skin cuz they probably would not feel it.

Nope, troys right, Hayes Noel (genius) and his friend saw cattle markers in a catalog and had him self a duel w/a friend, than in newyork he and 12 other docters , lwyers and navy dudes played a distorted version of capture the flag, that was june 1981, paintballs almost 20 years old, and the guy who won the first game never fired a shot. Ooooohhhhhh Richy C knows some thing actually useful :p

There is a pibull down the orad form me who attacked me one day when i went running, It was running up t me, so i thought id just pet it and go, but it jumoed and ripped my shrt. So, i kicked it in the face. I sure as hell wouldnt mind shooting that dog with my gun.

Incube, bou the frog blowing up, i actually killed a forg by accident. I was thrpwing rock into a pond one day when i was little, and i hit a frog that was on the surface and it cut off its head. Now, that was me thorwing a small rock as an 8 year old, now imagine a paintball at 300fps hititng it,

i don't think paintballs would break on most animals. atleast not on birds, but if you decide to shoot animals don't use marbs. i wouldn't waste balls on animals, i have in the past, but i'm not likely to do so in the future. and if you do decide to shoot something, an elephant would be good, the balls would break and it wouldn't be too paintful, i was gunna say rhino but that could be dangerous

Our next door neighbor has 2 dobermans, and they use to bark, and bark, and bark all night. About a month or so ago one night when they just wouldn't shutup i took my tigershark outside and put a big old white splat on both of them. I did the same thing for about a week cause it worked pretty well to get them to be quiet. Now there so scared of it all i have to do is walk outside and dry fire it in the air a couple times and they dont bark for the rest of the night hehe.

dude......shootin a white rabbit like 7 times..and seeing it roll over.....dat was hilarious.....hahahahahaha........but if i saw a rabbit...i woudlnt shoot it. it would be too mean...........although i've shot a wolf spider (about 5-6 inches long) while it was on a rock....with my air rifle....it was pretty disgusting...i shot it from 2 inches away and it exploded...some of da pieces got on my face and some got in my mouth...
