What's the coldest weather you can play paintball in?

The only limit is how quick you get hypothermia.

The paint won't freeze because of the oil in it.

where do paintballs turn into bullets? what are you the wizard of oz?

Here is an experiment: put paintballs in the freezer over night.

take them out in the morning and follow the following steps:

1) Hold paintball in hand
2) examine the effects of overnight freezer
3) get ready
4) drive paintball into forehead

if you are dead then your paint ball to bullet theory is correct.
if you have a paint splotch on your for head then our paint ball oil theory is correct.

**note** if your theory of paint to built theory is correct and you are not dead, you haven't followed my steps correctly, drive paintball into forehead again, and again, until the desired outcome is achieved.

let me know how it works out.

He probably quit paintball and went into airsoft, joined an airsoft forum, and tried to convince everyone that a bullet shaped airsoft pellet would work!!

Reported.

He said the same thing we did. He just added that you need arctic paintballs in below freezing weather.

Well, I play in Canada.....that is when my Igloo entrance isn't covered in dead baby seals, and my dog sled team hasn't been digested by a polar bear.

rgags89, you make me want to join the dodgy club
just accept that if it is cold enough for your paint to freeze, you are no longer playing.

Yeah, i was just out fighting off polar bears from eating my dogs. Going to be good eating tonight.

On topic:
Use winter formulated paint if your concerned with the balls freezing, the winter balls have some stuff added to the fill/shell to keep them from getting hard or freezing as fast, well worth it.

Note also that in cold weather your gun has a very high possibility of freezing up due to co2 + cold weather.
