A-5 with egrip is faster then a mech cocker.

The only exceptions to this rule would be either the ProCarbine or SL-68 II compared with each other or the A-5 or m98/98c.
This has gone effective as of September 21st, 2003.

Between the setups you just listed, the a5/e-grip is the way to go. But with the proper mods(eblade, raceframe, or firestorm kit.) the cocker would be the way to go. Them ups would cost you some major bucks though!

An e A-5 is faster than a mech cocker, but if you plan on doing some upgrading in the future get a cocker.

My A-5 is my main gun, but I would not buy an E-Frame because of the insane amounts of broken sears.

I don't think that's what he meant. Sure, an e-gripped A-5 is faster than a stock mech cocker, but speed isn't everything. I'm pretty sure that he's saying the cocker is a better marker overall, which is probably true.

Then he is not answering the question that was asked, and his answer is completely irrelevant to the thread. The question asked was which is faster, not which is the better marker. Thats why I really dislike opinions with no reasons to explain them. Most of the time they aren't helpful and can be misinterpreted.

Mech cocker<electro a5
IN SPEED
A5 is a woodsball marker. ITs longer, more cumbersome, not super light compared to the cocker but is more durable and will not break. Performance-wise, the cocker will be more accurate (the04) cuz it comes with a decent stock barrel, and a regulator. ITs also probably lighter, and cooler looking than the tippmann and will not break as long as you maintain it properly. ON the other hand, getting a cocker and upgrading it is addicting and expensive, and to get an electro conversion on the cocker costs quite a bit of cash.
