Hey should I polish and/or oil the little groove that the piston arm slides through, or would it stick to the arm and get in to the inner workings of the piston? There are a few minor scuffs and nicks on the arm, and presumably with more play, those will only get worse.

I wouldn't touch it. You might want to put a small drop of oil in by the rod that moves in and out of the chamber. This will help keep it lubed. If I remember correctly though the kit does not require any type of lubrication at all; hence it is self-lubricating. You might want to email Tippmann to make sure. That is a good question. As far as scratches, they happen and there really isn't anything you can do about it. Just make sure that there is no visible dirt or grime on the kit.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to e-mail Tippmann when I'm done with this.
