Hey guys,
I've been looking around a little and I have a Nitro tank on the way but... I have NO idea how to take care of it. It's a Air America Melee tank, if that matters. Nitro tanks are a pretty big investment and it would be a shame to see one "die" because of neglect.
Thanks a LOT, guys.

dont really need to care for it, just dont drop it or scratch it . . . a tank cover would be a wise investment, along with a fill nipple cover so dirt doesnt get inside.

yeah.. but what about this "lubing your reg" I've read about? Do you need to run silicone through it everyone once in a while or something?

No.
The regulator can use some light oil on the piston and spring, and white lithium greese on the the threads, but you only do that if you take it appart. And you don't take it appart unless you are Air America Certified (unless you want to run the risk of putting it together wrong and destroying it... but I digress).
In general, just use the tank. No additional oil/lubs/etc. Any problems, find an AA certified tech (like me) or send it in to AA (their warrenty is great).
