Double loader

My g1 was being crazy today. I cut or wore out 3 detents in a row about a game apart. I clean my gun and oil extensively after every day of use. I have never had this problem before and nothing in the gun looks odd. The o-rings are all in good shape and there wasn't anything that i noticed different with the bolt and other internals. Is there a better quality or softer detent that i could use to prevent this problem? The only varialbe that has changed since the last few times i have played is that it was about 5-10 degrees colder outside.

Are your ball detents black? If they are dont use them. The old ones are black and dont work too well. Buy some new ones that are clear. They work much better.

I used both and cut both. The original one was black and i used that one for about 2 years with no problem. The other ones i used were from spare parts for a 32* rebel. One was black and the other was clear; the black replacement lasted longer than the clear one.

The 32* detents might be different then the PMI ones. I dont know I have never seen one. You should try to get a PMI detent and see if it works better.
