takiing my sight rail off of my spyder 2000. I took it off cuz there was really no use for it and that it scratched my bolt to. Does the screw on the sight rail help keep the bolt in place? So should i put it back on to?

If it were any other gun id say you were fie. But i know with the 2k the sightrail kinda holds the bolt in. Id put it back on, you dont wanna be firin and have your bolt fly out :)

you can take the sight rail off with no problems. All you do is put the screw back in to hold that black cap in place...

the bolt is not held in place with any screw........it is connected to the striker by the bolt pin....your bolt will NOT fly out if you leave the site rail screw out...
