I would go for rev. M98 suck IMO. I would go for a spyder!

I would get a 12 vt revy first. Also a Spyder is cheaper than a Tippy. The Compact 2000 goes for around $80. I too like Spyders better than Tippmanns. M98's just feel so blah...long and bothersome to crouch in a bunker with.

well i don't feel like getting a Spyder. I really want to try the custom 98 cuse it has great reviews and is supposed to be a great starting gun.

Noone tells me how long and bothersome my tippy is when I bunker em'. :D

Anyway, go for an x-chamber first. For just starting off you need the consistency more than the faster hopper. Especially with a tippy you don't really need a revvy.

One will improve your accuracy, one will improve your rate of fire.
Which one is the biggest problem?
If you are chopping balls because you're not feeding fast enough, get the rev.(buy the 12 not the 9, trust me)
If not, your velocity will be more stable, improving your accuracy, if you get the chamber.
If you are not having a problem with either one, spend the money on paint and practice more, you'll see the most difference.
Just my suggestion.
