i've always wondered this but it wasnt until recently that it became a thorn in my side.

it seems that you cant make suggestions or complain without being called ungrateful. if nobody ever complained, nothing would get improved.

so wheres the line? what is crossing from helpful suggestion/constructive criticism to ingrate?

and no, i'm not talking about the pbr situation where certain people were banned. plz dont bring it up.

Dinner really sucks (your mom cooked it, your ungrateful)

This chicken could use a little more rosemary (helpful suggestion)

You get a red shirt for Christmas -> "this is a *** shirt" (ungrateful)

You get a red shirt for Christmas - > "Thankyou, I needed a new shirt, but would have prefered blue do you mind if we exchange it?" (polite, and not ungrateful)

You can say the same thing and be both ungrateful or helpful, and polite

Learn TACT and you'll be fine.

Seriously, I hate when people tell anyone to stop complaining, sure its annoying but it feels damn good to complain about your problems. And I use to hate all the old people that came through and told me, well theres no use complaining now is there!
