I recently bought this gun: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7121434445&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

My question: Can I use an High Pressure Air tank with it? I have a 3000 PSI (I think) right now, although I'm considering selling it to buy a bigger one.

Thanks!

yes you can, the hyper inline reg is a good reg and im positive it can handle 850-900 psi of input pressure. see, it doesnt matter if the tank will work with the gun, it matters if the tank can work with the regulator (because the air goes through the regualtor to the gun). you can pretty much use high pressure tanks with almost any reg except a few like the WDP mini and other angel regs.

yeh, hyperline regs are some of the best out there, any tank, even an lp one (not that i suggest that) will work great.

well really everybody says that impys need high pressure because of the maxflow, but with the hyper inline im sure low pressure works really good. i dont know what the best pressure to run that reg at is, but im sure low pressure is as good as high pressure with that reg.

actually, you still want an input between 600psi and 1000psi. the reason using a hp tank instead of a lp tank is better 99% of the time is because hp tank are more reliable and more consistant than tanks with lower outputs. unless you're using a speed (03) or newer angel, you should be using a hp tank-no matter what the gun. if you already had an lp tank, it is no biggy, but if you haven't purchased one yet, the hp one is a much better choice.
