Does he have an electro hopper, revvy etc? You could get one of those.

how about a harness for games? or how about some repair kits, o-rings, c02, remote mirco line.

yeah all those are pretty good choices.

but i reccommend either a revy or a delrin bolt or cyclone bolt (yes they now make them for rebels:D )

and also, show your love by borrowing his gun one day when he's not home and doing a trigger job to it. see my thread in this forum called Rebel Trigger Job. it helps alot and you should be able to outshoot a 9 volt revy, so if your gonna get him a revy, go for the 12 volt or some of those new ones (mach, richochet)

and the trigger job should cost you next to nothing, all of it for under 5 or 10 bucks.

hope this helps

here's a quick way to do a trigger job without even taking the grip frame off the gun.

put the safety ON, and pull the trigger, then let the trigger go a TAD bit. (very little, just visible). remember/mark the spot and put a nut (not that kind) on the spot so the edge is where you marked/remembered. now the trigger shouldn't move forward past the point where it 'clicks', therefore, when your gun is on safety you should only be able to pull it very little (read-tad bit-) now you have eliminated 'forward slop'

now for the backstop, cock your gun, and slowly squeeze the trigger until it uncocks. do not move the trigger. put a small nut behind the trigger so that when you shoot, the bolt uncocks and then you can move the trigger just a very very small bit back (a little less than a tad bit, from earlier :) ). now you should have a shorter distance to pull the trigger. of course, you havn't actually changed the pressure required to move it, just the possible distance the trigger can travel.

oh and just for laughs, if you want an insanely sweet trigger. put a little bit of paper or plastic. it won't mess up your gun, but you will have to take apart your trigger frame (meaning the pins and such) and i have a rebel deluxe and i have yet to be able to get those damn pins out.

this is a completely safe trigger job, that can be removed pretty easily.

at this very moment, i have the nuts set up on my gun and i'm waiting for the sealing crap to dry.

NOTE: it might take a while to find a nut just the right size to make the back stop.
also, when waiting for the parts to dry, you may notice that the nut that holds the trigger back (thus creating a forward stop), it will be pushed aside by the trigger, i used some fishing line to tie the trigger back in a held back position.
this will aid in 2 ways: it will hold the backstop nut back so it will dry faster, and it won't push the forward stop nut away.

hope this helps, and it should be free too

:D
