stock reg sucks... What new reg would you recommend if you can upgrade it at all. I disassembled the gun too look at how i would go about instaling a new reg. I didnt really see how you would get the old reg off. Thanks in advance for your advice.

well when did you get it??? it might just need to break in a bit...if you really want a new one i would get a cp reg or a macdev gladiator

the Black Magic is just a mediocre stock WGP reg with cool milling. for the same price you could get a CP that looks just as cool and performs 5x better!

If you just bought your BKO, make sure it is broken in first before you go rushing off to buy a new reg.

to remove the reg you just unscrew it. if you cant get it by hand, grip it with rubber gloves or a mousepad, or if worse comes to worse just use a strap-wrench.

alright so my reg just may need to be broken in? Well how long does this usually take. I have probaly 18 hours of play on this reg and it has really just started to act up recently, and i havent changed anything on my setup. Although i did find out last time i went that my gun has blowback.

figure around 5000 shots to get it safely broken in. You can get all-day air and just dryfire the crap out of it for awhile, that'll do the trick.

If this only started happening recently, maybe you should take the reg apart and clean it? See if that helps.

If you end up getting a new reg, you cant go wrong with CP, Gladiator, AKA, or Palmer.

is your reg leaking or what?

nope not leaking just very unstable. Okay umm i just put my last bit of air through it (about 850 shots). Im going to go refil it and see if it does anything. I had already put about 5500 shots through it.

I'm probaly going to just go ahead and get a cp reg or something. I was looking at it, and i dont see how you could get a new reg without buying a adapter for a screw in reg or something of the like.

Does anyone know where to get an adapter for a bko or how to instal a new reg, and where can i get a reg (place i can trust).

all you have to do is twist the old reg off, and twist the new one on. you dont need an adapter.get a reg with threads that look like those on your tank.
(no im not telling you to screw your tank on there)

yep cause thats what I like to do. Screw maintaining the marker and just throw more money at it to fix the problem. Have u even considered cleaning the regs? Running air through it wont help, relube the reg and I bet you you will be suprised with the results.

Reg instability is a common feature in most new regs. If it doesn't get better after 10K shots or so, I suggest trying something new. CP maybe?

Alright i cleaned it, once i get more air i will check it out.
