Black V-Force Shield??

I just saw on a website a vforce shield for 40 dollars. its a black on though, is there any difference between the black and the green??? thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

Are you talking about the black rental shield or the gunmetal black shield? There are differences between the rental black shield and the gunmetal/green/burgundy/3d techno or otherwise regular shields.

Sometimes the gunmetal shield is referred to as black, but it is different than the black rental shield.

That one is the field rental version. It does not have a nice strap, or a bag. Also, the foam in it is not the nicest for comfort and it's thin(closed cell foam like neoprene). I suggest you buy the regular shield (gunmetal). I ordered that mask(field shield) also from paintballinc and I had to glue extra foam on it and change the strap. If you dont think the foam will bother you (closed cell has some advantages) and you dont need the pro-strap or bag then go for it.

The strap it comes with is usable, just not the best. They call it field shield because it's meant for fields to use as rentals. Its the same a rental shield.
