What I mean is, do you consider yourself a good paintballer. I myself am not sure about my skill, but I will think about it.

I never take the chance to call myself good. I mean I consider myself to be a good paintballer, but I would never brag to neone about it, cause I know they'll always be somebody out there better than me.

Yes. I consider myself pretty good. But I'm realistic about it too, I realise that on any given day, there are people who could mop the floor with me, and even a paintball fired from a rental gun, aimed by a newbie still counts as an elimination. I think of myself as pretty good, nowhere near the best, and like I said, there's better out there, but still pretty good . Besides it 99% gun and 1% skill with me :P

It was meant as a joke. Sorta because anyone with a cocker or better, will hear at least once after eliminating someone that they only got em because their gun is better

Eh, I don't want to sound conseeded in anyway, but I consider myself somewhat good. I don't just sit in a bunker all day telling people what to do. I crawl around, and go 'kazi for the team whenever I have too. I get a fair ammount of kills in a day. I may not be the best on the field, but I know that one thing or another that I did would effect the game.

I always say I suck...so this way when I get taken out...I don't feel like an idiot........but then again..If I Take YOU out....what will that say about you if I say I suck...(snicker..snicker..)

i like to tell myself I suck, it makes everything better. It makes it not as bad when you get hit and it makes it worse when you hit some1 if they get hit by some1 "worse than them". even if i'm better i'll still say i'm worse. its tactical.
Its hard to see yourslef as a good player because I myself dont like being egotistic but I aint gonna say I suck

But Witt, if you know you are good, then say you are good. Who cares if you sound " Egotistic ", if it's the truth, say it.
But Timberlake...You cant say your good unless someone has complemented you on your paintball skills.??

So, are you saying I am good because Butch and all of the college kids patted my back after I made that guy surrender.
Yeah...Maybe. But you need to achive alot of goals to become REAL GOOD. we are all good. You had a wicked good day. But We need all of the regular paintballers to play and see how all of us compare.

I agree.
Because some people are better at certain things. You just got dead on accuracy.

Skill for me is extremely dependent on who else im playing with. Of course hitting the field with a bunch of newbies will be a disadvantage in some way...but I still find ways to be pretty good. Just yesterday I went to a local field by myself and I was put on a team with a lot of newcomers. The other team was the same but they also had 3 people with Angels out there (one of them was a really experienced kid around my age...and I have to admit i was a bit intimidated). During the game he bunkered two of our players and i said what the hell....i rushed him and bunkered him. After that round he said "Wow...i think thats the first time Ive ever been bunkered" and i felt pretty good knowing that I had played that well that day when i had so many inexperienced players on my team. But when Im with teammates that know what theyre doing...I am a LOT better :D :D
