Polishing Advice

I've been trying to polish my bolt chamber and valve chamber on my Defiant but can't get an even application of the sand paper (1500 grit) to the inside of the marker. Does anyone have any suggestions or know any good tools to use for this?

my suggestion would be find a 3000 grit small bore hone made for carbs on motor cycles.. i have one at work that will just barely fit in a .680 hole so it barely works in a Paintball gun or barrel... 1500 grit isn't that fine for polishing, more like removing ano and debris.. if you want to polish something you need the get above 2000 grit
