This morning I had an STS G2 Piranha... Right now I have a WGP 2001 Autococker. Thing is SWEET. I have a low pressure kit in it and a venturi bolt. Threw on a bevertail just for fun.

Now I am looking at barrels.

The Autococker is freaking intimidating - I know guns really well, and most paintball guns are really simple devices... no prob. I pull the cover off the front end of this Cocker and I'm confused.

Cool, welcome to the world of cockers.

Allthough I am sad to see that you got a botl and a LP kit before you got a trigger frame and BARREL!! A barrel is the most important upgrade you can ever get for a gun. Plus a stock bolt is a great bolt out of the box, it is one of the last things you should worry about upgrading.

Dont worry... The grip frame and the barrel are already planned. I'm getting a barrel in a couple days - I have a J&J Ceramic thats coming in from Shop4paintball.com and its getting sent back for credit towards a 14" Boomstick.
As for the gripframe - I like the feel of the stock grips. I looked at a .45 frame for it and while I love the 1911 .45 and have several of them... I like the feel of these WGP grips. However - when the time comes - Stainless will be the way I'm heading.

After a few hundred balls in testing - I have not broken a single one save be where i wanted the ball to break on impact. This Cocker is smooth, accurate, and reliable - everything I was told a Cocker would be.
After I get my barrel, this gun will be even better. The stock isnt a good match for Marbs - it would be better if I was shooting bigger rounds. What surprised me was how "Not Loud" the stock is. Its short and unported - yet very Un-Noisy. I can see that with a good ported job like a boomstick, it will be even further supressed. I'll play with the stock tomorrow and maybe try a boomer on it... Aint no thing - make me appreciate the better barrel even more when I get it.

The LP kit was needed as I am running CO2 right now. If I had HPA - I wouldnt have bothered with it and maybe have put that money on sumthing else. Like a Revolution or faster 3 Way. But right now I wanted consistant reliability that the STS didn't give me.
