i have maverick deluxe and i noticed that when you pump it.

(pull back) it reveals the ball detend srpring and the ball goes in.

so now the ball is between the detent and bolt at half pumped.

then..

(bring foward) it pushes the ball over the ball detent so when i point my gun slightly down, the ball rolls out of my gun.

isnt the ball detent suppose to keep if from rolling out? but how can the ball detent do its job when the ball gets pushed over the ball detent by the bolt?

The ball detent on any closed bolt marker (pumps, Autococker, Shocker, etc.) is only there to prevent double feeding, unlike in open bolt case, where it also prevents the balls from merely rolling out. If you experience this a lot try a smaller bore barrel or "fatter" paint.

hmm.. since i already had like 3000 of these paintballs. i put like a two sided sorta spongey little itsy bit of tape on the beginning of my barrel. a excellent ball detent! =) :D problem gone. im happy. but it annoys the heck outta me when i have to squeegie my barrel since the thing comes off and i have to spend time to make that little bit of tape again.. argh. what paintballs have been know to work with armson stealth 16"?
